St. Paul- Republican Party of Minnesota Chairman Ron Carey today issued the following statement regarding Al Franken's release of his latest fundraising totals.
"After burning through $1.2 million to raise $1.9 million, Minnesotans shudder to think what kind of senator Franken would make handling other people’s money. Unfortunately for Franken, all the money in the world won’t stop his old style politics of slash and burn and partisanship from being rejected. Minnesotans want someone who can work across the aisle to get things done – not just launch vicious negative personal attacks."
