Thank you, Michael, for proving once again that ol’ Smokescreen is indeed a lapdog.

    From your link:

“The Federal Election Commission counts individual contributions separately from money that PACS give to the campaigns. Coleman had received more than $1 million during the first three quarters of 2007 from PACs, compared to about $50,000 for Franken.”

And thank you, Michael, for proving once again republiCons believe in “do what we say; not what we do”!

    From you link:

“So far, Franken far outpaces the field in outsider contributions, with 77 percent of his individual donations coming from non-Minnesotans. Coleman follows with 60 percent. In this election cycle, Ciresi has received 38 percent of his individual contributions from outside Minnesota.”

So, let’s recap: you’re rippin’ Franken, while well over HALF of ol’ Smokescreen’s donors came from out of state, and over ONE MILLION came from lobbyists.

That’s a mighty fine candidate you got there, Michael. And thanks for helping get this story out.

77 percent is still a higher number than 60.

And ONE MILLION is a LOT higher than 50 thousand.

Here’s a thought for you, Michael – Franken’s getting so much dough from out of state, because people the country – nay, WORLD – over recognize ol’ Smokescreen’s nothing but a lapdog?

    From your link:

“Mark Stein and his wife, Carol Baker, of Haverford, Pa., gave $500 to the Franken campaign in August. Their strong feelings about major national issues drew them to his candidacy.

“It was the election of 2004 and the aftermath that made us political,” Stein said. “We hadn’t really been involved in the past. We feel that the current administration has really made a mess of things, both domestically and internationally. A more balanced and forward-thinking Congress would be helpful.”

They also were attracted to Franken’s attack on conservatives in his book, “Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them: A Fair and Balanced Look at the Right.”

the republiCon party is filled with liars, from Mayor Maybe in Paulsen’s home town, to G. Scooter Liddy, er, ‘scuse me, L. Scooter Libby.

Say, that reminds me – didn’t Boy Blunder promise to fire anyone involved?

Say, maybe if ol’ Smokescreen had held hearings into the leak….nah – Lapdog didn’t investigate republiCons…..

I guess these posts reveal that Normie accepts PAC monies from out of state Special Interest and Coorporate Lobbyists more than average. What % of Franken’s out of state donations are from COORPORATIONS and SPECIAL INTEREST PACs???

If you are going to throw stones from your Glass House, Michael, prepare to bear some cracks.

Challengers seldom if ever get much money from PACS so I’m an idiot and can’t admit all parties are bought and paid for. Big deal. Anyone seen my pretty pony? It’s pretty.

So you allow hijacking of posters names, here?

What a class place you operate….

Yep. Ol’ Mark pulled a GOPer on that one. And once caught, he shoulda manned up.

Franken will be easy to beat – even with “One-fourth of the value of personal contributions to the Franken campaign has come from Californians — exceeding the total donations from Minnesotans. Beverly Hills ZIP codes alone account for 54 contributions.”
