MN GOP PRESS RELEASE: “STRUGGLING EDWARDS STUMBLES INTO MINNESOTA”
By Michael B. Brodkorb | January 29, 2008
St. Paul- Republican Party of Minnesota Chairman Ron Carey today issued the following statement regarding John Edwards' visit to Minnesota.
"As his angry message of class warfare continues to fail, John Edwards today brings his fading campaign to Minnesota. Unfortunately for Edwards, Minnesotans aren’t going to support a desperate candidate who will say anything to stay relevant."

The real question would be….he had scheduled a visit to Fargo, too. This morning a news alert from Fargo arrived noting that his visit was canceled. Wonder why? Noted in the news release that it was not the weather. Could it be there wasn’t enough interest?

Good thing Huckabee isn’t coming to Minnesota anytime soon. I can’t even imagine what kind of press release Carey would have to send out about the state of his fading campaign.
Oh wait….
Never mind.

Edwards obviously will not win the nomination, but I would hardly call his message “angry”. Is wanting people to have healthcare angry? Is
not wanting to reward companies who outsource our jobs angry?
Is the Republican Party so completely devoid of any ideas that all they can do is call people “angry”?

You really need to ask?
Because the answer is obvious.
And it’s not “yes”, but “(CHENEY) YES.”

For the record, Fargo was postponed to later in the week, not “canceled.”

Ambulance chasing is common in Minnesota (don’t you agree Mr. Ceresi). Edwards knows that angry attorneys need him to rally them together and be their leader against everyone else.

Twopudd, lets be more accurate as we have Franken on record using much more foul language.
So for now on it will be (FRANKEN)’ this or (FRANKEN)’ that.
You seem so hooked on the fact Dick Cheney told someone to f-off.
How about I tell you to f-off?
Then you can use (KAHUNA)’ this or that.

No Anthony. Wanting people to have healthcare is not “angry”. It’s the tried and true cult method that Edwards uses like “Everything thing in your life is bad because of corporations and rich people” that is angry. Pointing out all the flaws with no clear plan for people to get mad at to get their support, that is angry.

Here’s a question for the simple-minded among us, and we know who they are: At what point of income do I cease being a poor working-class stiff being stiffed by the evil corporations and Republicans in general, and start being one of those EEEEVIL rich people who need to have their income confiscated and redistributed? Inquiring minds want to know, because I’m determined not to cross that line! Of course, guys like Edwards, Kennedy, etc. are so far over that line that they are… what? Immmune to the corrosive moral effects of having a few extra greenbacks?

Out of the candidates in the race, Edwards is the one the Democrats should be rallying around….he must have really upset the party big wigs the way he has been getting snubbed.

J.Ewing – for demo’s and lazy repub’s, you will now get a tax rebate even if you didn’t pay taxes. But seriously, I think any one making more than about 35K a year would be considered ‘rich’.

Edwards is a f#ck. The vast majority of those without health insurance CAN afford it, but ELECT not to take it. Those who can’t afford it… well, they have Edwards to blame. He lined his pockets prosecuting phony medical malpractice claims.

Chestnut, you are one big, ignorant pustule on the buttocks of the world!

buck, apparently, is uninformed about the issue of health insurance, and doesn’t know how Edwards came in to his enormous wealth…

“Facts are stupid things.”
Reagan said it; Chestnut lives it.

Edward did not offer enough free cheese!!
Kind of cheesy.
