I know you will say that you can’t control what your commenters print, but you can and do delete comments you don’t like all the time. You have deleted links from your site based on things that were a lot less offensive than this. I know BK is one of your biggest fans – but if you want to have any kind of impact, I think you should either (i) tell him it’s not allowed any more, (ii) bar him, or (iii) delete these comments when they come in. Allowing them on the site paints the whole site as a playground for wingnut trolls.

Assuming there is no moral conflict, my vote shoudl reflect my Constituents. If there is no obvious sentiment coming from SEMN, I am free to follow the will of my Caucus (Republican Party).

You quote the Star Tribune to say “Walz, a freshman congressman from Mankato, cited Obama’s overwhelming support in his southern Minnesota district in announcing his endorsement Wednesday.”

It seems all the world like Walz is following the Craig Grau “delegate” model and/or the Gil Gutknecht “Constituent” C, and is being pretty open about it.

Michael, do you believe that Walz should not be concerned with the will of his constituents in his role as 1st District Congressman?

Obama came to Rochester in October of 2006 to give Amy and Tim a campaign push. I was there and saw Obama up close. His support of Minnesota’s up and coming candidates helped.

DId you happen to catch a bit of NPR yesterday afternoon. Tim Walz detailed fully his position as a Super Delegate.

After the Caucus results Tuesday evening heavily favoring Obama in the 1st CD and throughout Minnesota, putting his support for Obama was the correct decision.

If this does not explain this you, Michael, I suggest you find another way to waste your time than waste ours with your senseless ramblings.

For that matter, what position has Obama taken on any issue. That guy is long on smile and charisma, and short on accomplishment and ideas.

As for Walz, he could have backed either the socialist from New York or the socialist from Illinois. So, he picked the socialist.

Either Hillary or Obama will do a fine job of delivering the economic hardship that Democrats like to talk about, but which very few are actually experiencing.
