OBAMA CAMPAIGN ROCKED BY CHARGES OF PLAGIARISM BY FELLOW DEMOCRATS #2

By Michael B. Brodkorb | February 18, 2008

It appears Senator Obama thinks he should have sourced Governor Patrick:

"'I'm sure I should have' given credit to Patrick." – Senator Barack Obama, The Politico, February 18, 2008

Click here for the complete post.

Remember, it is Obama’s fellow Democrats who are making the charges of plagiarism and not Republicans.

How easily the lamestream media forgets Hillarry Clinton’s book “It takes a Village”. This was plagerised from another author without aknowlegement but it was “OK” because the original author of the phrase said she didn’t mind using it. Fine but still no aknowlegement. That was a book title, not a speech.

Also, the females side of the “Hillbilly Clinton” co-presidency campaign advertised a book signing and instead brought a pallet of machine signed books citing “security”. Hello!

Yep. The guy he “stole” from is a supporter who has advised him and given him permission to quote the same historical statements he was quoting.

I don’t know if Obama can recover from such a thing…

I have “borrowed” and “stolen” words from others all my life. Throw my ass in jail!!!

I hope Hillary wins the nomination, too.

Ha, good one, Kathy…the Republicans are running scared and will pounce on anything to create a rift…ooh, was it ok to use “running scared?”

    Greg,

Only problem with your rift on Hillary’s booksigning was that I was there and waited in line while she signed my book – in person – and spoke to me. So were several thousand others…..

Didn’t John McCain steal fired up and ready to go from Obama?

Shouldn’t the Republican nominee give credit and apologize?

Ok all you democrats. Apparently what you don’t realize is that it was HILARY who made the accusation, not some republican. It’s your own party bashing each other.

There were some heated words from Mitt Romney to John McCain. Wouldn’t be surprised if each had borrowed from the other. This goes on all the time in politics, business, etc.

I know it’s the Clinton Campaign throwing the barbs towards Barack Obama. Clinton is desperate to stop Obama’s momentum. Bill did her no favors in South Carolina bring Jesse Jackson into the fray. That is a tight rope she is walking. If she brings that up, it’s all over for her. Plain and simple.

I will be blunt here. I am not all that fired up about Hillary Clinton. She is ambitious and shrewd, I give her that. Had I been her, I would have divorced Bill for all his shenanigans before and during his terms in the White House in a heartbeat. She needs him for her to get the nomination and win in November if she ends up the nominee.

Is this borrowing of words going to hurt Obama?? I think not. Wisconsin and Hawaii votes will be close. Both will go to Obama.

Should Hillary Clinton raise this at the CNN sponsored debate from Texas on Thursday, she be booed, she will find voters may not be as supportive of her as they once were. Negativity does indeed work, but not always in the favor of the one being negative.

  10. Master of None Says:
    February 18th, 2008 at 9:06 PM

I find it disgusting that Obama would compare his words to the Declaration of Independence and to FDR’s “Fear” speech.

Who the hell does this guy think he is?

Seriously. This “scandal” is “rocking” the campaign about as hard as Matthew and Gunnar Nelson rocked the charts in the last few months of 1990.

Some many liberals here are going to need serious help when they come to find Hillary will get the nomination. :) I get a kick out of you all that actually believe the democRat party is actually democratic in their election processes.

If they truely were about the will of the people then why the “super” delegate system? ;) We all know the answer to that is they do not trust any voters, even their own base. After the beatdown the democRats took with McGovern, they decided that an elite few should be who makes the final choice.

Which, Hillary has already paid for and will be the candidate. :) Osama, er Obama is cute and all, but he never had a chance against the Clinton machine.

You best start showing the love for Hitlery soon!

  16. Pete Says:
    February 19th, 2008 at 11:48 AM

The only question remains is who will be Clinton’s VP pick. Has Edwards come out in support of anyone yet? I believe he is waiting to see what happens today before deciding, no he will be the VP pick. I also believe Clinton will win Wisc. today. A win, no matter how small, will swing the momentum back her way and carry her to the nomination.

  17. kathy Says:
    February 19th, 2008 at 1:07 PM

Current Exit polls from FOX and CNN show Obama leading Clinton amongst the Blue-Collar voters and amongst the College students by 6% points. Not a substantial lead, but a lead none the less.

This will be a close one. People will be glued to the TV tonight.

  18. Big Kahuna Says:
    February 19th, 2008 at 4:13 PM

Kathy why would they be glued? It seems to most we understand that Hitlery has already paid for this and I actually believe she allowed this cute little Osama, er I mean Obama thing to happen to keep the press off of her.

The poor guy never really had a chance and I feel bad for my liberal friends wh for so many years thought they actually had a say in their party. Silly wabbits. ;)

  19. kathy Says:
    February 19th, 2008 at 9:50 PM

Those waskilly wabbits are having way too much fun, BK!!!

    The momentum continues. ;)

The liberals alwas get excited, in 2000 we were for sure going to get Gore. ;) In 2004 the liberals told us that it would be Dean until the scream. ;) Then boy Kerry had all the momentum and was a shoe in until his service record come into play. ;)

Osama, er I mean Obama is a fad. The man has no real accomplishments to point to and he is all about great speaches without telling you anything. if he should win, I fear we are in for another Carter like admin. :(

Which I would not mind so much as I believe we get another lousy democRat president and I think we will see a backlash and the white house will only be trusted to Republicans.

Liberal policies fail each and every time. We only need to look to democrat controilled cities like we have here in MN. Mpls & St. Paul are prime examples of what happenes when you let democRats have the rule. Failing schools, higher taxes, poor roads, falling bridges, a list as long as your arm of availible social services yet a big shortage in police and fire.
Sounds like world I want to live in. ;)
