REPUBLICAN PARTY OF MINNESOTA WORKING HARD TO PREVENT MASSIVE TAX INCREASES
By Michael B. Brodkorb | February 21, 2008
I just spoke with Mark Drake, communications director for the Republican Party of Minnesota (MN GOP), regarding their efforts to prevent the massive tax increases contained in the DFL's transportation bill from becoming law.
Drake said the MN GOP started making calls into targeted legislative districts (seats held by Republicans and Democrats) last Monday – a full day before the session started. Drake said the party has made "thousands" of calls to concerned Minnesotans across the entire state.

Darn, those flaming liberals from the Chamber of Commerce were able to close the deal with the House DFL to construct a transportation bill–they’re killing the GOP.

I just heard on the radio that some Republicans joined with the Minnesota Senate Democrats in overriding the Governor’s veto of the Transportation Bill. Is this what is meant by the “Republican Party of Minnesota working hard to prevent massive tax increases”? This is the reason I do not contribute to the Republican Party any more, even though I am a strong conservative.

I am a deleget for district 63 and I’m
thinking about resigning, why should
I work and wast my time. when it seems
that the party can’t get it’s act together.

Humans usually get what we deserve. Electing traitors like the RINOs that voted for the tax increase only reinforces that addige. I hope the part cuts off all support to these guys. Send them to the DFL. (they are there anyway!)
