Al Franken is skipping opportunities to speak at local DFL conventions on Saturday in Minnesota to speak at a Democratic convention in Las Vegas:

I thought you guys stopped cover Al on here for awhile. I guess it wouldn’t be MDE’s style to have posts about Al leading Coleman in the latest Rasmussen Polls.

Al and Norm both have quite a little bit in common – they both obtain the vast bulk of their campaign contributions from the big money supporters of Israel who’ve probably never even been to Minnesota.
