[...] UPDATE:  Well, maybe the State GOP gets it after all. [...]

Good. I hope all of the 6 house and 2 senators go down before the general election. One of the 6 said that this wasn’t about his career…Good END IT NOW! Don’t endorse him for November.

And if it is about doing the right thing, how about he gives back the $100.00 Per Diem that he is collecting? Especially since he can commute home each day…

And if Carey follows through on his threat? What if some or all of those GOPers flip to the Dems?

The GOP is in the minority in both houses. It doesn’t have the luxury of demanding ideological purity from its caucus on all issues.

Over on Look True North, Sue Jeffers is blaming the governor for this:

Well considering that she said it BEFORE the vote even took place Eva, I am afraid that I have to disagree with your analysis. Sue is merely stating (and she has a very valid point) that TPaw is STILL governor of Minnesota and as such he is needed here TOO!

LL, it appears Marty Seifert isn’t happy with the Governor either:

And I’m sure we’ll hear more ripping on Pawlenty from Jason Lewis tomorrow.

[...] Finally the MN GOP appears to be learning their role in Minnesota politics. The MN GOP is warning those politicians that voted to override Pawlenty’s veto, that they may forfeit their support by the party come November. GOOD! Why is it even a question. If you don’t be a teamplayer on the real critical plays, you obviously don’t care about the team, why should the team care about you? [...]
