    HD 16 ? – Where and Who’s seat?

  2. Michael B. Brodkorb Says:
    March 1st, 2008 at 4:10 PM

    Representative Mark Olson.

  3. dumbster Says:
    March 1st, 2008 at 6:20 PM

    Olson is toast.

  4. Political Muse Says:
    March 1st, 2008 at 6:41 PM

Awesome, now she and Mark Olson can battle it out for the right wing vote and we can elect Steve Andrews.

  5. Eva Young Says:

You spell her name wrong: Kiffmeyer – not Kiffermeyer….

  6. dumbster Says:

As bad as things are for Republicans, I don’t see how they could possibly elect a Democrat in the most Republican part of the state.

  7. Chestnut Says:
    March 2nd, 2008 at 3:01 AM

Good for her. I wonder if Mark Ritchie will be helping Democrats in the district bus in illegal voters.

  8. HCDFL Says:
    March 2nd, 2008 at 7:47 AM

Maybe Mark can help Mary put up the terror warning alerts at the polling places in the 16th
    That’ll do Sheeple, that’ll do

  9. baby girl Says:
    March 2nd, 2008 at 8:22 AM

Maybe Mark can loan her a list–free, of course, from the state databases.

  10. Pete Says:
    March 2nd, 2008 at 12:19 PM

HCDFL, awefull early to be wasted on a Sunday isn’t it? I see your worried about this, bet you thought it would go DFL didn’t you? This is merely one of many seats that the Republicans will keep and add this year.

  11. TrollHunter Says:

HCDFL – do try and add to the debate – Oh! that right your a Troll – nevermind.

Awesome, now she and Mark Olson can battle it out for the right wing vote and we can elect Steve Andrews.

Don’t bet on that. If it comes to a primary, Mary Kiffmeyer will bury Mark Olson. Once that’s done, she’ll bury Mr. Andrews in the general election. The chances of the GOP not holding this seat in November are roughly the same as someone defeating John Kline in CD-2.

  13. sally Says:
    March 2nd, 2008 at 7:27 PM

    Does Mary have a website.
I think she would do a great job.

  14. Hal Kimball Says:
    March 2nd, 2008 at 9:11 PM

I think what Muse is getting at, is that Olson has threatened to run as an Independent. Three way race, Andrews wins…easily.

  15. Sounthern Minny Moderate Says:
    March 3rd, 2008 at 6:59 AM

Kiffmeyer would be a good addition back at the state house. Sure, she’s a partisan, but she’s a class act.

In my experiences with her, I have found her to be what Bill Clinton calls a “A Conservative, but not mad at anybody because of it.” She will be a definite step up for the GOP.

  16. Zeebus Says:
    March 3rd, 2008 at 7:36 AM

    Mary Rules!
and she doesn’t beat her husband.

  17. senator larry Says:
    March 3rd, 2008 at 1:54 PM

Wow! A wife beater versus a swindler. If the republicans want to know why they are losing seats, check out the terribly flawed candidates they set forth on the voters.
