MN PUBLIUS “JUMPS THE SHARK” WITH LATEST ATTACK ON MN GOP

By Michael B. Brodkorb | March 2, 2008

Since I started blogging on July 23, 2004, I've read some really idiotic posts from liberal bloggers attacking Republicans.  But today, Zack from MN Publius published the most asinine attack on a Republican I have ever read.  Zack wrote a post attacking the Republican Party of Minnesota because the official calendar on the party's website didn't include February 29, 2008. The headline of his post was "Republicans Don't Believe in Leap Year."

Zack's post is the new low point for half-baked attacks on Republicans by liberal bloggers in Minnesota.

Did you moon units ever consider it was a joke? Joke=humor? anyone? ……………………….crickets.

If that was humor, the author needs a lobotomy.

Liberals believe in a lot of myths. Now this leap year bullshit? I suppose next they’ll be advancing the “theory” of anthropogenic leap year, and telling us that we all need to purchase leap year credits to off-set our consumption of calendar days.

I think I read Al Gore thundering away about the U.S. abuse of the calendar, consuming more days per capita than any other nation on the planet. This is unsustainable consumption of calendar days, according to Gore, and illustrates the inequity and injustice of capitalism.

    LOL.

Guys, it was a joke. Lighten up.

Yeah, and leave Al Gore out of this! Anyone who invented the Internet is OK by me!

Mine was a joke too. LOL.

    Chestnut,

I know, my comment was directed at Michael and Honeydog.

[...] PS.  Michael, 1. you’re a dumbass.  2. in case you were concerned that somehow you missed this press release from the MNGOP, it should be noted that it’s not real. [...]

Honeydog – perhaps you’ll recommend who performed yours?

It looks like Zack from MN Publius states, “Guys, it was a joke. Lighten up.”

    Muy interesante “very interesting”

two questions just to show how stupid this post is:

One, did MN Junk (aka Publius) do a post on Clark’s refusal to answer hypothetical questions on tax increases?

Two, isn’t this the same organization that on the night of the New Hampshire primary was predicting an Obhama win by eleven points and that the writer of the post was going to PARTEEE!!!!

Zack, I repeat, if that was humor, then the author needs a lobotomy. It wasn’t remotely funny.

Tommy, I haven’t had a lobotomy. And so much for your claim that you get insulted first before you go on the attack.

  13. TwoPuttTommy Says:
    March 4th, 2008 at 7:27 AM

So, Pat – your story is it’s ok for you to insult Zach, with a lobotomy comment, but it’s NOT ok for anyone to insult you with the same comment you insulted someone with?

Is that what you’re claimin’, Pat?

  14. Honeydog Says:
    March 4th, 2008 at 12:15 PM

First, I think you have the wrong person there Tommy.

And I didn’t insult YOU. So you had no place to go on the attack. I also didn’t mention a name, as I didn’t bother reading who the author was on the other website.

Also, I think you need to actually read. I said they needed a lobotomy, not that they had gotten one. Apparently, you don’t know the difference.

  15. TwoPuttTommy Says:
    March 4th, 2008 at 5:31 PM

First, Pat – I think I do have the “right” person.

Second, Pat – you insulted someone on this thread with a lobotomy comment; but I’m not surprised you feel that it’s completely unfair to have what you dish, dished back at you.

  16. Honeydog Says:
    March 4th, 2008 at 7:09 PM

Well, if you want to call me Pat, lol go right ahead. Doesn’t bother me, but that’s not my name.

And I didn’t insult YOU. You claim people insult YOU first. That apparently is something you can’t wrap your brain cells around.

And again, the comment wasn’t funny. It was childish and lame and anybody who thinks that is funny, and over the age of 4, isn’t right in the head.

[...] **Please note that Ron Carey never said any of that, nor did he file a Freedom of Information Act request regarding Ramstad, Kline and/or Kennedy. I note this because Republicans sometimes don’t understand when I’m being funny. I cannot confirm nor deny, however, whether Michael’s head exploded after reading the Star Tribune article mentioned above. [...]
