I GUESS THE DFL DOESN’T WATCH TELEVISION

By Michael B. Brodkorb | March 4, 2008

I have been reading with great amusement the DFL's claims that they can find no record of the GOP's new TV ad running against them.  The DFL are actively peddling a false story line to the press that the ad is not running.  That's funny because I have already seen the ad running on television this morning.

I hope it’s running everywhere. That way the GOP will have less money to run stupid ads like this one when it counts in the fall.

    Sure the ad is runnin’!!!

I saw it myself, this mornin’ on Faux, er, ‘scuse me, “Fox News.”

So, if the DFL is claimin’ it’s not runnin’ on “real” TV, technically, they are correct.

I see the boys with nothing intelligent to say have already commented on this topic. I’m sure they are worried because they know that the DFL tax increases are going to cost them votes this year.

I’m not worried, we’ve got Obama at the top of the ticket, that trumps all tax increases and will bring tons of voters who will vote straight Democrat/DFL.

My saying Obama at the top of the ticket implies my belief Clinton won’t get the nomination by the way.

We should take them at their word because:

    1. Democrats NEVER lie
    2. Democrats, especially the ones who create/sell art, are busy working during the day. They don’t have time to watch TV.
    3. Democrats are above party politics. So why would the Republicans ever run an ad against them?

Of course you know when the ad’s running, Mikey. You probably scheduled the media buy.

Clinton will win the Democrat nomination. The liberal leadership will make sure of that. There is no way the Democrats will let a black man be their man.

Hey I saw the ad run just before Hillary spoke last night. Will the Democrats say the ad is not running (wait a minute I was watching Fox and I thought Democrats didn’t want to watch Fox even though their Presidentials candidates were on their version of Today this morning)
