AP: “AL FRANKEN COMPANY FACES $25,000 FINE”
By Michael B. Brodkorb | March 5, 2008
"MINNEAPOLIS (AP) – The state of New York fined the personal corporation of Democratic Senate candidate Al Franken $25,000 for not carrying workers' compensation insurance for almost three years.
The New York Workers' Compensation Board levied the fine against Alan Franken Inc. in August 2006 for failure to carry the insurance from June 2002 to March 2005.
Brian Keegan, a board spokesman, said a number of notices were sent to the address the New York agency had listed for Franken, but the television personality and political commentator didn't become aware of the fine until Tuesday, said his campaign spokesman, Andy Barr.
'If there's a mistake by the Frankens it was an inadvertent mistake as opposed to trying to evade the law,' Barr said.
The fine was reported recently by Minnesota Democrats Exposed, a Web site sympathetic to incumbent Republican Sen. Norm Coleman, whom Franken is seeking to unseat in November." Source: Associated Press, March 5, 2008

So Andy Barr, one of the people you all claim was horribly aggrieved by this clerical error, is serving as the spokesperson for the non-event?
Kinda shows how trivial your whole campaign against Franken has become.

Bill O’Reilly tried to manufacture and pull-off a $25,000 “non-event” vs Stuart Smalley a couple of years years ago. It didn’t work.

“Non-event”? Are you certain your conclusion would be the same if this “non-event” concerned Norm Coleman? I suspect it would not.
Regardless of who was “horribly aggrieved” by this mistake, it does expose a bit of irresponsibility on the part of Al Franken. It may give pause to those who consider trusting him with the business of our country. Or it may not, depending on how dedicated one is to ignoring Al Frankens faults.

Hopefully you will be able to come up with more concrete information about Franken than this, because Norm won’t be able to hide behind W’s apron anymore.

So the NYT runs a front page story about McCain from unnamed sources about a non-event nine years old and the Red Star runs the Al story on the metro/bottom of the page. If this had been about Norm in the same scenario it would had been front page on the Star Tribune.

Come on guys, we all know that Norm has been bending over for W for the last 7 years. It’s time to elect someone that votes with his guts, not his hind end!

So Al will vote with his guts and not his brain? I suspect as much, but forgive me if I don’t put that in his “positive” column.
