TEAM FRANKEN TRIES THE OLD “BAIT AND SWITCH” TRICK TO DISTRACT FROM FRANKEN’S LEGAL TROUBLES
By Michael B. Brodkorb | March 6, 2008
"Sandberg said that the rumors that Ciresi won't honor the convention endorsement are being floated by the Franken campaign.
'This is a classic case of them saying, 'Let's deflect the attention from Al's workers' compensation problem to something else,' Sandberg said. 'Look, he's got a lot of union support. Workers' compensation is a key issue to working people. This is a serious matter. He needs to be responding directly to it.'
The matter Sandberg is referring to is the $25,000 fine Franken paid to the state of New York Thursday for failing to carry workers' compensation insurance for employees of his corporation, Alan Franken Inc. The state of New York says it began sending Franken notices of his obligations in April 2005 but never received responses.
Franken's campaign has said that the candidate's accountant will continue to look into the matter and that Franken denies there was ever an attempt to evade responsibility. If the state proves to have been wrong, the fine presumably would be refunded" Source: MinnPost, March 6, 2008

Man Franken’s campaign is desperate. With the loan being made and by Mike’s comments I’ve already got the impression that he isn’t going to honor the endorsement. Can’t they float something more news worthy like a new policy position or something on Mike C. Of course I suppose any news story will work. Maybe he will talk about the Resko trail in Illnois or the good that the gas tax increase will do. Won’t that be more substantial things to talk about? Not news worthy enough I suppose.

There is a new strib article up talking about how JNP also accidenly didnt pay for worker’s comp. At the end, it gives a nice list of other candidates who goofed on worker’s comp.
“After Democratic Sen. Paul Wellstone was killed in a plane crash during his 2002 campaign, it was discovered that his staff lacked workers’ comp coverage. State Labor Commissioner Jane Volz was forced to resign in 2003 for failing to obtain coverage for her law firm.
Other campaigns have been cited and fined for failing to provide workers’ comp coverage, including that of Third District Rep. Jim Ramstad, Second District Rep. John Kline, and Sixth District Rep. Mark Kennedy, all Republicans, and gubernatorial candidates Roger Moe, a DFLer, and Tim Penny of the Independence Party.”

Walter;
The desperate campaign is Norm’s.
He can’t stand on his record and you can’t defend it either.
You should be a buddy and start sending him the want ads, he’ll need them in January.
That’ll do Sheeple that’ll do

The only part of Norm’s record is that he might not be conservative enough. He has worked his butt for the state of Minnesota. Something which you want to ignore.
Norm believes that the tax cuts should be permanent so nobody gets a massive tax increase (for a poor or middle class person that will be a 50% plus tax increase)
Of course in the world of liberal make believe that is where you don’t think Norm has a record.
Come back to the real world my lost sheep.
