One, what CIA covert agent was outed? There’s this talk this woman who worked in the CIA was exposed by the Bush admiration, but her first outing was actually done in the Clinton administration.

Two, what you have forgotten in this dispute was Rove and Libby were talking to reporters. They were telling the reporters that the CIA appointed Wilson not the Bush Admiration. It was later learned in this mess that the woman who has been harmed by being outed exercised influence to get him appointed to this mission. If Wilson had wrote a pro Bush report you would be questioning the method how he got appointed.

Three, very important Joe Wilson created this problem because when it got to a point where he was trying to embarrass the Bush Adminstration that he decided to be public about his identity! He had no problem being interviewed by Robert Novak when he thought Novak wrote a pro Wilson piece. His complaint came months after Novak wrote his piece. Not the day the story was published.

Four, where was the immediate outrage? Novak did this alleged harm in July 2003. Wilson didn’t start complaining about this until like October 2003. The CIA when Novak talked to them placed no restirction. The fact that the CIA didn’t urge caution (compare that with all the begging the Bush Adminstration was doing to stop the Times from publishing some of their spy coverage stories) the CIA thought there was no harm. AKA she wasn’t covert.

Five, are you mad at Mr. Fitgerald who apparently was never worried enough about it that he tried to get Libby let alone Rove charged with outing a covert agent which could cause execution?

You see Eight she was never covert therefore she was never outed! Joe Wilson created this myth to please people like you and get rich at the same time!

I keep hearing “What Reagan Do?” spewing out of Sean Hannity’s mouth.

Having served in Reagan’s 500 ship Navy, I could tell you what he would have done with Iraq. Back then we had the USS Wisconsin and the USS New Jersey along with 13 carrier groups. We made the mighty Soviet Navy back down time & time again. Saddam would have been no problem.

Libya (the Iraq of the 80′s) stopped making mischief after he got a few missiles in his tent.

Remember the USS Vicennes? We took no crap in Persian Gulf. Iran learned its lesson.

First off, Reagan would not have reduced the Armed Forces to the level that Bush 41 & Clinton did. Second, he would have listened the military expertise of Colin Powell not Dick Cheney. Thirdly, under a Reagan administration, Donald Rumsfeld would not even be a restroom attendant on Mahogony Row in the Pentagon.

Reagan committed troops once–in Beirut. It was disaster, rather give into lust for revenge, he pulled our troops out of harm’s way. The USS New Jersey’s guns took care of the rest. Has Hamas messed with us since? No. This October it will be 25 years.

Granted, I will never vote for Franken but Coleman needs to be his own man. The man who cleaned up St.Paul after Goofus Latimer not this Bush 43 butt sniffer.

Especially around the 32 minute mark, when he talks about war, and Ronald Reagan.

StarTribune Breaking News: Pawlenty travels out of town on weekend…….Sometimes!!

“Most of my travels have been on the weekends, and I put in enough hours as governor to more than take care of my duties here,” Pawlenty told reporters this week.

Pawlenty’s spokesman, Brian McClung, expanded on those remarks Friday in a prepared statement, saying that Pawlenty was out of town for just eight weekdays so far this year.

“It’s doubtful that most Minnesotans care if the governor is playing hockey, campaigning or watching his daughter’s volleyball games on his own time on a Saturday or a Sunday,” McClung said.
