COLEMAN POKES FUN AT FRANKEN’S WORKERS’ COMP PROBLEMS

By Michael B. Brodkorb | March 26, 2008

"In his speech, he never mentioned Franken — the presumptive DFL nominee — by name, but made repeated references to him.

'Republicans are for small businesses, especially those who pay their workers compensation insurance,' Coleman said." Source: Pioneer Press, March 26, 2008

    From the PiPress story:

“The ability of the first-term senator — who began his political career as the Democratic mayor of St. Paul — to convince people that he is above party politics will be crucial to his reelection fight. “

    BINGO!!!!

And good luck with THAT one!!!

TPT – that was lame – but you go with that.
    Franken is a loser’s choice.

Bill, you want to talk lame, you shoulda heard Norm.

He tried to take credit for raising the mileage reimbursement for veterans traveling to the VA for care, when it was in an omnibus VA bill that passed 92 to 1.

I would think that the avergae person in Minnesota would be reluctant to voe for Franken after the disaster that was Jesse Ventura.

Democrats believe in forcing others to do things. That doesn’t mean that they have to also do those things. Franken is just one example.

Bill, you want lame? Try asking Tommy to name just one thing that Al Franken has ever accomplished.

    Chestnut,

    Re: accomplishments

Al Franken managed to help accomplish forcing out possibly one of the BEST potential future USA Senators mainstream Minnesota voters will ever have known, to drop out of the race for DFL endorsement. [That person was Mike Ciresi.]

Good point el presidente…. perhaps we should qualify that question by asking for anyone to cite any “positive achievement” by Al Franken.

They guy has achieved nothing, and contributed only to the sewer that is the worst of the worst politics.

Well, hey! If you say so, chestnuts – if there’s anyone that knows sewers and sewage, it’s you.

Chestnut: “Anyone to cite any positive achievement by Al Franken.”

He [probably] has a normal stance [not a wide stance]. This will [probably] keep him from having problems with the MSP airport police if he has to use the restroom facilities at MSP, unlike a Republican USA Senator.
