WHO IS J. GAUTHIER?
By Michael B. Brodkorb | March 27, 2008
I will be publishing a series of posts today about the public documents released by the Republican Party of Minnesota (MN GOP) regarding Al Franken's failure to pay workers' compensation insurance and the disability insurance. The MN GOP's press release of earlier this week brought to light the fact that Franken had also been fined by the State of New York for failure to pay disability insurance – something Franken's campaign failed to disclose.
One question I do have for Team Franken is who is J. Gauthier?

Day 1 of ol’ Smokescreen’s fly-around, and Michael’s posting this??!?
Must be a brutal reception for ol’ Smokescreen, in greater Minnesota…..

J Gauthier is an alias for…Karl Rove. Of course, its all a plot against Angry Al.

More proof of Franken’s lies.

I think the question is a valid one. If this person signed for the certified mail on July 11, 2007 where did it go? What if any relationship does this person have to Al Franken?
On the other hand, is this the only documentatation that anyone was ever notified about the fine and/or the lack of coverage for the employees? Reading the PDF, it kind of looks like that may be the case.

I think the question IS a valid one — also seems like a pretty simple one to answer. Although, from the articles I saw the certified letter isn’t the only documentation that was delivered to Franken in this case. I believe there were at least a half-dozen letters that were sent to the same address that the certified letter was sent to.
The Franken folks would seemingly want to answer this question pretty quickly and let the story just go away — although, it sure would be interesting if anyone from the press in Minnesota actually got to talk to the Gauthier person and ask him or her what’s up with this issue.
Not only that, but, given that the $25,000 was a court ORDERED judgement — not just a simple fine by the Worker’s Compensation Board, would anybody know where one could go and find out just how many employees Franken must have had during the time he wasn’t paying his workers’ compensation premiums?
This seems like it should have been a pretty cut and dried story for the Franken folks at the beginning, it seems kind of curious and odd that they would continue to let it hang out there.

Who shot J.R.?
Who is J.G.?

The only people keeping this story alive are Michael and the MN GOP(or does Michael work for them?). Norm has his re-election kickoff rally, and MDE is bringing back stories which are over a month old. Way to back your candidate.
Michael, I think you just broke the 100mark on the amount of posts, on the same non-story.
Congrats. getting paid by the post.

Hey Yoni! Looks like you have a problem with this story hanging around. You’d rather it just go away, huh? Why is that?
If you don’t like how Michael runs his site, then why do you frequent it?

Perhaps he likes to read the comments by el presidente.

Si!
You keep ‘em comin’ back for more, compadre!!!

If Franken wins the election, I wonder if el presidente will have an honorable mention in the Movie?

Will this senatorial election eventually be decided by the Minnesota Mud Wrestling Championships?

How many think that this senatorial election eventually be decided by the Minnesota Mud Wrestling Championships?

One must remember the left does actually believe there is one set of rules for the public and another set for them. Angry Al will be VERY angry if he keeps getting questioned like this.
Al is so unelectable it is actually quite funny. He has so much negative material to work with out there, no way does even MN voters put this meathead in.
You can tell he is not a strong candidate as even puddles will not put his posting rights on the line to bet Norm loses.
It will be fun to see Angry Al’s consession speech as I am sure he will be professional and keep it civil.

Red Girl, I have a big hangup with redundancy, drives me loony! and yes I mostly frequent this site to see what el presidente will write next. He is so crazy! 4 more years, 4 more years!

Well Big Kahuna & Yoni,
Do you think that Norm Coleman LESS ANGRY than Jack Pallmeyer-Nelson, or Al Franken about the 4,000 American soldiers that have been killed in Iraq?
March 28th, 2008 at 1:54 pm
el presidente,
I meant crazy in a good way
March 28th, 2008 at 9:20 pm
Si, your post #8 is interesting.
It seems to me that Norm Coleman may be LESS ANGRY about 4,000 American soldiers being killed in Iraq than Jack Pallmeyer-Nelson & Al Franken.
My reasons: Jack Pallmeyer-Nelson has a reputation as an anti-war advocate; I believe that Norm Coleman and Karl Rove have promoted “angry” Al Franken.

Over 4,000 Americans once had one but, now they don’t.

J. Gauthier is probably the doorman or one of Angry Al’s servants….
….wonder if he has workman’s comp…
March 29th, 2008 at 2:33 pm
He could be a she. Perhaps a door-attendant or workers’ comp.
March 30th, 2008 at 9:11 pm
How does someone be a workers’ comp?
April 1st, 2008 at 10:37 am
Pete,
[Keep It Simple's post & your post]
Doorman = Door attendant
Workman’s compensation = Workers’ compensation
[The infinitive of the verb: to be was not connected to the phrase ending with "comp." I probably started the phrase with a capital letter out of habit, and I also probably put a period at the end of comp because it may have seemed like an abbreviation to me.]
[To answer your direct question: "How does someone be a workers' comp?" upon first blush looks as though el presidente's habitual good grammar mistakes lead to your question.]
[However, a closer look at your question, might reveal otherwise.]
Keep It Simple, was engaged in chippy stuff probably based on nothing substantial [servant, doorman, angry, ...wonder if he has workman's comp... (the doorman)].
