[The infinitive of the verb: to be was not connected to the phrase ending with "comp." I probably started the phrase with a capital letter out of habit, and I also probably put a period at the end of comp because it may have seemed like an abbreviation to me.]

It seems to me that Norm Coleman may be LESS ANGRY about 4,000 American soldiers being killed in Iraq than Jack Pallmeyer-Nelson & Al Franken.

My reasons: Jack Pallmeyer-Nelson has a reputation as an anti-war advocate; I believe that Norm Coleman and Karl Rove have promoted “angry” Al Franken.

Al is so unelectable it is actually quite funny. He has so much negative material to work with out there, no way does even MN voters put this meathead in.

You can tell he is not a strong candidate as even puddles will not put his posting rights on the line to bet Norm loses.

It will be fun to see Angry Al’s consession speech as I am sure he will be professional and keep it civil.

The Franken folks would seemingly want to answer this question pretty quickly and let the story just go away — although, it sure would be interesting if anyone from the press in Minnesota actually got to talk to the Gauthier person and ask him or her what’s up with this issue.

Not only that, but, given that the $25,000 was a court ORDERED judgement — not just a simple fine by the Worker’s Compensation Board, would anybody know where one could go and find out just how many employees Franken must have had during the time he wasn’t paying his workers’ compensation premiums?

This seems like it should have been a pretty cut and dried story for the Franken folks at the beginning, it seems kind of curious and odd that they would continue to let it hang out there.

On the other hand, is this the only documentatation that anyone was ever notified about the fine and/or the lack of coverage for the employees? Reading the PDF, it kind of looks like that may be the case.

Must be a brutal reception for ol’ Smokescreen, in greater Minnesota…..
