What’s more remarkable than Klobuchar’s comparison of BHO to HHH is her refusal to endorse Franken. That’s not waiting to see what the delegates do. That’s sheer terror of being eternally painted with the stain of Franken. It’s safe to endorse Obama and compare him to HHH, the patron saint of the DFL (who btw may not caucus with the DFL today if he were alive). The polls all point to Minnesota liberals having gotten off the Hillary train in advance of the impending derailment. Obama represents a no-lose posture for Klobuchar.

You are wrong, hiding and moving around molesters was recognized at the highest levels of Catholic church leadership. The bashed real victims and have a long horrible history of denial. If you are Catholics some of your money went to pay for settlements directly caused the refusal of church leaders to stop and report abuse by Catholic priests (and nuns).

Why then didn’t people walk away from the church when it became quite clear this was happening? If they still sat in the pews when these monsters were still preaching and said nothing, does that make them silent supporters?

Obama had the opportunity to take many cush jobs along the way and he did not. Take a look at the other presidential candidates on both sides, he probably has the least money of any of them. Hell, Ron Paul probably has more money!

If Obama had been there a few months, or even a year (a major stretch to be kind), I could understand. But twenty years, a member of the church, a major donor to the church, calls the pastor his “spiritual mentor”, puts his children under his teaching, etc. etc. etc.?

I think suggesting that Obama is responsible for the thoughts of his pastor is akin to McCain being responsible for the fraud perpetrated by the Baptist Foundation of Arizona.

By your logic why do most Catholics keep belonging to a church, even if they know church leadership for decades protected hundreds of pedophile priests?

It is interesting you bash Obama’s church when by your very post you imply he isn’t a Christian. So which is it? Is Obama a Muslim or a Christian? Who are the radicals?

A church is much more than a couple of snippets by a pastor. It is a community that though flawed, worships God throughout their lives. They assemble to hear the word of God proclaimed and to really find out Where God is in their lives and the lives of the community.

I will say right here and now that if John McCain can quote me word for word every sermon that his pastor has given since he stepped onto the public stage, he can have my endorsement.

As for Wright, I don’t generally judge people by what their pastor says. He is running for President, not Wright and he has made it very clear he does not share the same viewpoint on many issues as Wright.

Ok, fair enough. But is it true?

Let’s list all the “Change” that Senator Obama has agented for America, Illinois, or for that matter his parish. Hubert Humphrey actually championed massive civil rights law changes. His list as “change ageny” is legitimate and lengthy.

Please show the depth of Obama’s “change agent” history so we can all appreciate his HHH-ness.
