CLASSY: MN BLUE FEATURES 35-W BRIDGE IN APRIL FOOLS DAY ATTACK POST ON REPUBLICANS
By Michael B. Brodkorb | April 2, 2008

Click here to read this classy post on MN Blue. Less than two weeks ago, the Minnesota DFL and liberal blogs screamed foul when images of the 35-W bridge collapse were used in an issue ad about Senator Coleman’s leadership.
MN Publius called labeled the ad “exploitive” and the DFL Party said that “Senator Coleman’s shadowy supporters are politicizing the tragic I-35W bridge collapse for his and their own benefit.
I look forward to reading MN Publius’ post and the DFL Party’s press release condemning MN Blue’s post.

Liberals, classless as usual.

I looked at the ad briefly on the actual MN Blue site and I didn’t bother to figure it out.
I didn’t take the time to read the difficult blue/red lettering, that I don’t think is too pronounced, until just now when MDE pointed it out.
I was more focused on the middle part of the photo that didn’t make a lot of sense to me. I knew that it was the bridge but, I didn’t see a visibly pronounced message that hit me smack dab between the eyes.
I’m still having difficulty reading the last word.
“The joke is on __?___ “

Nice people. They preach that they are the party that cares but something like this has to be hard on the familys impacted by this disaster. Sad bunch of people over there.
April 2nd, 2008 at 8:58 pm
Isn’t that twoputt’s blog?
April 2nd, 2008 at 9:02 pm
I expect to see it in the newspapers as well that Republicans decry DFLers using the bridge collapse for political gain. Of course, it wouldn’t be the first time. We already know one unnamed DFL legislator was on the phone threatening political retribution to the governor’s office before the dust was even settled. I’m sure it won’t be the last either.
Shameful.

Yes it is twoputt’s blog

As Bobby Kennedy noted: “Nobody hates like a liberal.”
April 2nd, 2008 at 10:59 pm
~So, this is TwoPuttTommy’s (TPT) blog, on MN Blue’s what? On MN Blue’s Blog?
~Is the complaint about a blog [TwoPuttTommy's], within a blog [MN Blue]?
~Is the complaint about a post, within a blog, within a blog?
If MDE’s headline criticizes MN Blue, then is MBB and/or MDE stating that MN Blue should have censorship over TwoPuttTommy’s post or blog?
I think that there are a lot of issues here besides the issues that perhaps MBB just doesn’t LIKE the TPT blog.
You may have to take your comments: shameful; sad bunch of people over there; Liberals, classless as usual; etc. and take a much closer look at your motives and your own comments.

el presidente,
Whisky…Tango…Foxtrot???????
April 3rd, 2008 at 6:52 am
el presidente,
you are an idiot.
April 3rd, 2008 at 7:20 am
hi-ten; that’s “Whiskey…Tango….(Cheney)…”
And to the rest of the usual suspects, yes, I post on MnBlue, and yes, that picture is tasteless.
But, as a contributing (im)Poster, the “Powers That Be” didn’t ask my opinion before posting that picture.
Personally, I woulda used this picture:

Or, perhaps this link to Bushy McSame, on the campaign trail….

This is no surprise.
April 3rd, 2008 at 7:59 am
Say el P? Are you trying to compete with “Grace” Kelly’s denseness?
April 3rd, 2008 at 8:33 am
That’s the way it is with this breed of knuckle-dragging cretins that call themselves Democrats.
They just keep repeating to themselves “Do as I say, not as I do”.
April 3rd, 2008 at 8:52 am
Steve, you got typos.
As Uncle Ronnie loved to say, for eight years: “Grab a jelly bean, ’cause fortunately for you, I’m here to help!!!”
Here’s what ya meant to type:
That’s the way it is with this breed of knuckle-dragging cretins that call themselves republiCons.
They just keep repeating to themselves “Do as I say, not as I do”.
April 3rd, 2008 at 9:21 am
Oh boy puddles, now you are up a lavel of arguement to the tone of ” I’m rubber and your glue…”
You must get paid by the post because many of them just make no sense. Then again, you are a flaming lib who hates much of his country, so not too much of a surprise.
Now, did you really think we would not know El Pres is actually you?
Just a little too much in common and a concern for you from him.
Guess you were too afraid to take the wager of Norm wins you never post here again and if Norm loses, I go away.
Poor puddles, without Michaels blog who would have ever paid him any attention?
April 3rd, 2008 at 9:49 am
Typical Frightened RightWingNut Guy,
You’re doin’ a heckuva job imitating little stones!
Four
!!!
Toss in a coupla cuss words, and you’ll really have ‘em fooled, T.F.RWN.G.!!!
April 3rd, 2008 at 10:39 am
Is that all you have left puddles.
Here I figured you still had some fight left in ya, but then again you are a liberal, tucking dick and running off is in your make up.
Had to create the “El Pres” name just in case Norm wins?
Maybe you just made him up so you had someone looking like they agreed with you, as we know there would be damn few who would.
April 3rd, 2008 at 10:40 am
Puddles; simply BRILLIANT! I believe BK is correct. You just keep trying to be somebody. It must be terribly sad to be such a little man.
April 3rd, 2008 at 10:58 am
say, rePete? If there’s anyone that knows about bein’ a little man, it’d be you.
Well, and little stones, too.
April 3rd, 2008 at 11:28 am
Puddles; BRILLIANT! I must be glue huh?
April 3rd, 2008 at 11:39 am
Go with that, rePete. It works for you.
April 3rd, 2008 at 12:05 pm
Thanks Puddles, your sweet. I wonder how long I can keep you responding to all of these silly comments? LOL
April 3rd, 2008 at 12:08 pm
I got a better idea, rePete – let’s look at what your pals at anti-strib have to say ’bout ol’ Smokescreen, shall we?
***
Hmm, I just can’t figure out why I can’t get excited about re-electing Norm Coleman.
I know that Al Franken is a socialist asshole so if I support Coleman I’ll get drilling in ANWR? NOPE!
Lower gas prices? NOPE!
A voice against MMGW and the massive power grab that scam represents? NOPE!
How about fiscal control? NOPE!
He has an R next to his name? I guess.
I told a McCain fundraiser this last week and it allpies to Coleman too
“He’ll get my vote, but I am not giving you one god damned dime of my money!”

So, rePete – how excited are YOU at the prospect of no matter who wins between Franken and Coleman, there’ll be a democrat elected?
April 3rd, 2008 at 12:16 pm
Guys, knock it off. On the subject of the post, I’d like TPT to defend the picture on his blog. Come on TPT – classy post.
April 3rd, 2008 at 12:25 pm
First, Michael, it’s not “my” blog; I’m a contributor there so what does or does not get posted isn’t my call.
Second, Michael, please see post #11, above, where I called that picture tasteless – because, it IS..
Wrong is wrong, no matter who does it, so even though you say you’d like me to “defend the picture” – it ain’t gonna happen.
April 3rd, 2008 at 12:35 pm
I think that pro-MBB supporters gain much.
A different April Fools’ Day poster could just as well be an Elephant in an upright straddle position by the MSP airport, with each hind leg on a separate banks of the river, with a caption of “Wide Stance.”
As for your assertion that el presidente and TwoPuttTommy are the same person – it isn’t true.
One of the things that most people like about being a citizen of the United States of America (USA) and living in the USA, is they don’t have to believe everything that they read.
If you don’t believe what I keyboard [write], that is a choice that you (plural) make.
I’m sure if I reflect back on my life, in contrast, on balance, your poor choice probably has more of an effect on you than it ever will on me.
Insofar as I know:
~Coleman, his wife, and adult children are not military Veterans;
~Franken, his wife, and adult children, are not military Veterans.
~Pawlenty, and his wife are not military Veterans.
~Cheney and his wife are not military Veterans. [I do not know about their adult children].
~GWBush is a military Veteran [interior USA]. His wife and adult children are not military Veterans.
So what is up with all of this military Veterans of Foreign War writing?
April 3rd, 2008 at 2:45 pm
Wrong again puddles. Norm cannot be a Democrat. They do not allow people that are pro-life in their party. That is the choice they made long ago. Is Norm a perfect Republican. As you say, Nope. Is he better then Angry Al? Yup. I would rather have someone in there who can get something done then to have someone like Angry Al who won’t accomplish one damn thing.
April 3rd, 2008 at 3:05 pm
say, rePete?
Here’s another thing your pals over at Anti-Strib had to say ’bout ol’ Smokescreen….
***
After reading this, I am not going to vote for Norm’s seat.
We can sit here and say that Al is going to be worse, but I’m not quite convinced that it is possible.
I personally believe, as I have said before, that we need to start sending RINOs the message that we are not going to vote for them just because they have an “R” after their name. They need to bring something conservative to the table, and Norm just doesn’t seem to have the ability to do that…so I’m not going to vote for him and might even vote against him. I mean my choice is between two liberals as it is…but at least one is honest about it while the other is a schmuck.

Say, rePete? When ya go to pull that lever for the ol’ Smokescreen, come November, just remember:
“If you don’t agree with Norm Coleman on an issue today, don’t worry – sooner or later you will. Not because you’ve changed, but because ol’ Smokescreen has changed colors, once again.”
April 3rd, 2008 at 3:30 pm
Puddles, I tried but it truely is impossible to have a conversation with an idiot.
April 3rd, 2008 at 3:33 pm
Puddles the “anyone but Angry Al” vote will be toio much to overcome even in a state famous for DFL voting fraud.
April 3rd, 2008 at 3:39 pm
That’s exactly why you’re called rePete, rePete.
Impossible to have a conversation with you. is indeed correct.
But, look on the bright side, rePete – you’re the solid base, in the small tent party.
April 3rd, 2008 at 7:06 pm
twostupid give it a rest-you have no respect on this site, go play with you golf balls or something and Grace is a disgrace.

April 4th, 2008 at 9:59 am
Your ability to call each other names is truly impressive. This is this the toddler chat room, correct?
April 4th, 2008 at 1:44 pm
Pete,
Pro-life people are in the Democratic Party, and Pro-life people do vote for Democrats.
Pro-choice people are in the Republican Party, and Pro-choice people do vote for Republicans.
I know quite a few who do.
Much depends on your definition of “pro-life” or any other definition that you have tailored for yourself.
I know of some pro-choice people who are essentially take on more pro-life positions, than some people who “claim” to be pro-life but have never really examined beliefs “in depth.”
