STAR TRIBUNE: “WHAT’S NEXT FOR R.T. RYBAK?”
By Michael B. Brodkorb | April 6, 2008
The Star Tribune had an extensive story in today’s newspaper about the political future of R.T. Rybak. There is no way he will be the DFL’s candidate for governor in 2010.
“This is a year of decision for Raymond Thomas Rybak. The 52-year-old Minneapolis mayor can choose the door of seeking reelection next year for a third term in what he’s called his dream job. Nothing on the horizon now suggests that voters would deny him that. Or he can set his sights on a bigger target — one he mentioned to supporters at his New Year’s Eve fundraiser last year — running for governor in 2010. Or Rybak could simply chuck public office for something new.” Source: Star Tribune, April 5, 2008

Rybak may run, but he won’t be the candidate. I’ve been hearing from Democrats that Congressman Walz may be a candidate for governor in 2010. If Walz runs, he clearly be the DFL front-runner for the nomination.

I am not too surprised that MBB/MDE did not select Terri Bonhoff as the DFL Governor’s front-runner the way that MBB/MDE has targeted her recently.
Other than that, sometimes I think that MBB/MDE’s comments and guesses are just bouncing things off the walls [and Walz].

When I worked for a Republican congressman, the governor in his state announced he would not run for another term. I asked my congressional boss if we wanted to run for govenor.
“No thanks,” he replied. “There’s only one of two things you can do as governor. Raise taxes or cut services.”
That’s why Walz won’t run for governor. I think he knows about those choices.

I can only hope that Minnesotans would reject this uber lib at about a 9 to 1 rate.

Any liberal with a heartbeat will get 35% of the vote. They’d still get 30% if they don’t have a heartbeat.

Last I heard there were at least 18 DFLers who were considering a run next cycle. The bean feeds are going to be excruciating next summer if even half that number announce.

Do you guys actually ever reference politics in your comments or just simple 5 year old insults? It always appears the Democrats on this website make comments with substance and are actually worth reading while the Republicans simply make childish insults. Hence why the Republicans are appearing to get trounced in the upcoming elections and your only shot of doing well rests on Hillary, isn’t that ironic.

Andrew: You’re a moron, an idiot, and deserving of euthanasia. You have no substance and you have no soul.
Please either go play in traffic, or play russian roulette with a loaded revolver.
