BREAKING NEWS: POGEMILLER EXPLODES AND SWEARS ON STAGE IN FRONT OF HUNDREDS
By Michael B. Brodkorb | April 10, 2008
I just received the tip below from prominent state capitol insider and dedicated reader of Minnesota Democrats Exposed.
###
Senate Majority Leader Larry Pogemiller yelled “bullshi*” into the microphone after Assistant Senate Minority Leader Betsy Wergin said that lawmakers need to be adults and not act like they are in 3rd grade.
The Leadership panel was conducted this morning at the City, School, Township and County joint meeting in front of hundreds of elected officials from around the state. The buzz after the meeting from people of all persuasions was stunned unbelief at what was heard.
Wergin made the response after Speaker of the House Margaret Kelliher complained about the Governor not meeting in her office instead of his office around Easter. Wergin chastised the DFLers and played a very statesman like role in pointing out that legislators need to be adults and stop bickering
about trivial things. This set up Pogemiller for his explosion.
We are researching to find a tape of the event to post, but hundreds of witnesses will verify what happened.

Why should the dems come to Pawlenty? Last tally of election certificates indicated that the vast majority of Minnesotans voted D in the last go round.
And, if memory serves, the executive branch is no more or less important than the legislative.
So, his pouting and hiding in his office to avoid negotiations with the legislative branch does very well appear to be bullshi*.
And at least he didn’t swear in front of 18,568 men, women and children who were just trying to watch a sporting event in peace…

Talk about DFLers being petty! Keliher might have a pretty powerful position, but she’s not the Governor.
As far as Poge goes, no surpise on my end. The guy has zero class, which is one of the many reasons he hides from the public.

WOW!
The amazing thing, is Pogey didn’t tell Wergin to go (cheney) herself, like the classy Dick “Hey! Senator!! Go (cheney) yourself!!” Cheney told Leahy.
You republiCons are a real class act!!!!!

Gov. Pawlenty yelled something over the loudspeaker like …

I believe our good friend Frank Alan left out the fact that Pawlenty beat Hatch by about 40,000 votes while the House of Reps won a flurry of seats (19 to gain majority) by a mere 8,800. In the vast majority of these 19 close elections, The Dems who won ran as supposed “fiscally conservatives” but have basically become tools of the entrenched DFL leadership.
As for Pogemiller, this type of reaction from him does not surprise me. What he lacks in arrogance he more than makes up for in conceit.

I think that Pawlenty could hold his own in a contest with Dick Cheney.

This is embarrassing for the DFL. Poggey: the gift that keeps on giving.

Two Putt:
The reason Cheney told Lehy to go //\\himself was he had just listen too Lehy berate him on the Senate floor and then came over too him and said to hard feelings, its just politics.

You must not know very much about the War in Iraq to write about family budget killing.

How many pieces did Larry Pogemiller explode into?

Pitty: Marge could use the exercise hauling that rear-end to the governor’s office.
As for Pogy, he’s a socialist who’s had Pawlenty handing him is political ass for so many years, all he has left is sociopathic vituperation.
The Democrats have so clearly overplayed the bit hand they got. I mean, these morons ran as fiscal conservatives, eeked out a bunch of seats by smaller margins that Bush beat Kerry by, and then came to the plate with tens of billions of dollars of tax increases, while staring in to an economic slow down, nonetheless.
These creeps are going to make it real easy for Minnesotans to vote GOP in the next cycle. Maybe not at the national level, but certainly at the state level.

So Pogemiller was challenged not to act like a 3rd grader and his response was to say the s-word??? I just love it when the DFL prove the point.
April 11th, 2008 at 6:13 am
I’m sure you do love it, Chris – it’s so (cheney)in’ you….

Puddles, not so BRILLIANT response. Failed, try again…

TPT is just another dumb mother(Obama)ing liberal. That silly (Obama)er actually believes the bull(Hillary) he’s been spoon fed. He’s a complete jack(Clinton).

Betsy rules. Pogemiller is a goofy-haired putz.
April 11th, 2008 at 9:07 am
I’d love to see the video, because I don’t believe a word you say.
April 11th, 2008 at 9:29 am
Grubby, nobody cares what you believe. Like most liberals the truth probably does not matter to you. I’m betting once you see the video you will try and discredit it just like EB and Puddles.
April 11th, 2008 at 10:45 am
Well Petey talk to cheap, if MDE wants us to believe him post the video?
Since the Republicans follow Democrats with cameras nearly everywhere these days, that shouldn’t be too hard.
BTW nobody really gives a shit what you believe either
April 11th, 2008 at 12:27 pm
“talk to cheap”? Sorry, didn’t see “Cheap” posting hear dude. But if he does I’ll be sure to say hi!
April 11th, 2008 at 1:12 pm
Yo Pete, I heard you need to talk to me?
Isn’t that “hear” supposed to be “here” dude?
April 11th, 2008 at 3:00 pm
Ya, grubby says hi. He has no friends so maybe the two of you can get together – that seems like the liberal thing to do – right?
