By Michael B. Brodkorb | April 24, 2008

It’s been a tough press work for Team Franken.

This post also appears on Blogs for Norm!, an online community and blog covering the 2008 U.S. Senate campaign in Minnesota. The primary goal of Blogs for Norm! is to organize bloggers who support U.S. Senator Norm Coleman.

I wonder how long it will take for Drudge to link to this story?

Franken must be fuming over this one.

Keep up the good work, MDE!

Teen driveing restrictions might provide a neck & neck race by morning.

    The over/under is 22

And yet still nothing at MN Pooplius? ;)

MNPublius has taken to moderating and erasing comments that make them uncomfortable; you think they are going to post an uncomfortable topic on their own?

I love this quote from Andy Barr

“”Al feels that because his name is at the top of the organization, he takes ultimate responsibility for everything that goes on,”

Well duh, being CEO and CFO, does give one a little bit of responsibility.

    What a tool.

    More Barr:

“Al spent the week doing an economy tour of the state,” Barr said, adding “We’re not hearing about this except from the Republican Party. …”

So all week long during Al’s “economy tour”, there was no red meat thrown to the faithful about how greedy corporation needed to be kept in check for the sake of the poor democrat working man?

When did the DFD (and Al) decide to change their message?

  8. surly Says:
    April 25th, 2008 at 9:34 AM

    DFD = DFL

    thick fingers…

  9. Swiftee Says:
    April 25th, 2008 at 9:42 AM

    2pud?

Andy Barr called again. He says Al is desperate and wants you to help him ‘man up’. 2:00 at Al’s place; bring the knee pads.

So Franken and Barr and “….not hearing about this except from the Republican Party. .” ?

…don’t they have internet access….or maybe read the newspaper?

    jeeze…what a silly, silly response.

  11. Chestnut Says:
    April 25th, 2008 at 10:26 AM

“not hearing about this except from the Republian party…”

… and reporters, and Calif. tax authorities, and bloggers… and in print, on TV and on the internet… and probably from the DFL leadership…

Nelson-Palmayer, I have to think he’ll be bringing it up soon…

  12. Big Kahuna Says:
    April 25th, 2008 at 11:23 AM

They are only checking in with MN Pooplius, so no word of this at all. ;)

I bet the kids at MN Pooplius are just beside themselves with grief over already losing the senate election. ;)

  13. D Says:
    April 25th, 2008 at 12:38 PM

Stealing money from kids in New York?

Angry Al: “Its not MY fault!”

Not paying his Worker’s Comp bills?

Angry Al: “Its not MY fault!”

Not filing paperwork to disolve his corporation in California?

Angry Al: “Its not MY fault!”

Failing to pay income taxes in California?

Angry Al: “Its not MY fault!”

  14. D Says:
    April 25th, 2008 at 12:40 PM

Angry Al is the perfect example of a Democrat. He takes absolutely NO personal responsibility for any of his actions.

  15. Big Kahuna Says:
    April 25th, 2008 at 1:12 PM

All this make me a little happier on a rainy day. :)
