FRANKEN TO PAY OVER $20,000 IN BACK TAXES TO CALIFORNIA

Ahhh…it all comes back to California and to this post that started this whole mess for Team Franken:
“The amounts Franken is paying back range from more than $20,000 to the state of California, to amounts well under $1,000 to numerous states.” Source: Associated Press, April 29, 2008

The initial spin from Team Franken was that Al Franken’s corporation hadn’t done business in California and the business’ registration had expired:
“That’s because the matter isn’t significant, said Franken spokeswoman Jess McIntosh. Franken hasn’t done business in California in years, and his business registration there ultimately expired for that reason, she said.†Source: Star Tribune, April 16, 2008
Franken’s paying $20,000 in back taxes because he did do business in California. Team Franken comprises a whole team of lying liars.

And, after he pays the $20,000 to California, he will get a refund from New York for $20,000.
