Here's one I just thought of in 4/4 time:

That'll do sheeple-dolts, that'll do. [quarter-rest]
         / / / /

Cock-a-doodle, cock-a-doodle-doo. [repeat]

"Al did pay all of his taxes due"

Sounds like a statement of fact.

So, if (and when) it's disclosed that Angry Al owes back taxes, you gonna back that big mouth (and empty head) of yours and pony up to help your hero pay up?

pffft. Thought not.

That’ll do dolt#3, that’ll do

Colonel Nathan Jeseph,

A rose may be color other than red.

However, Pete Rose did play for the Reds, so perhaps if your sentence would have read: "Calling a Rose "Red" that may have gotten you off to a better start.

Calling a Democrat a "stupid bastard" is about as hateful as calling a rose "red." Both are generally factual statements.

Way to call it like it is -- if even a bit too much so -- Chestnut.

<i>"You can't handle the truth."</i>

Hey guys, know what's funny? If Al would have flown back to Minnesota and hired CPA (inactive) Mark Kennedy to do his taxes, he probably wouldn't have had these problems.

As someone who himself is a CPA (inactive), this is really basic stuff. Read the papers on how the Twins have a staff to handle the withholding for each state. Or how local businesses like Target and Best Buy pay taxes in each state they do business in. And Al wants to be on the USA's board of directors?

What I do not understand is why Franken uses a NY accountant. Is he indicating he is above using a CPA in Minnesota or can he not find one that will not ask the wrong questions?

"Hail, Sir Punisher, Marty Siefert," were some of the words that MN GOP, Ron Carey wrote a retort to in an LTE (letter to the editor).

However, MBB writes a title with the word "MOCKED" in uppercase, red letters, in "FRANKEN MOCKED IN PIONEER PRESS SPORTS SECTION."

It is called scrutinize, and MDE-IRS, along with the Colemans stating "Norm doesn't blow-dry my hair," and other "U.S. Senator" stuff are in getting a look-see.

HCDFL, you are far too damned stupid to condescend to anyone.

Question for you: DID AL FRANKEN PAY ALL OF HIS TAXES TO THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA?

Another: DID AL FRANKEN PAY ALL OF HIS TAXES to the other 17 states that he did NOT pay his taxes to?

Let me type this really slowly for you, you dumb f***, A L F R A N K E N D I D N O T P A Y A L L H I S T A X E S D U E .

By your retarded logic, if I take merchandise from Walmart, but write a check to Target, I didn't steal anything.

Are you this goddam stupid naturally, or do you, Tommy and the rest of you jerks practice as a squad?

Chestnut;
I'm typing this slowly for you, Al did pay all of his taxes due.
The accountant mistakenly applied those amounts to only two states, Minnesota and New York.
When Al was informed of the other states he filed and paid the taxes due.
Al isn't the first and he won't be the last to make a multi state filing err.
Like it or not that's what happened.

That'll do Sheeple that'll do

Hey Michael,
Just a story suggestion here, but can you pull up all the quotes from Democrats a couple years ago demanding that the price of gas be higher (through taxes) in order to force changes to driving habits?

It'd be interesting to contrast those comments with Democrats now complaining because the price of gasoline is too high.

Further, it would be interesting to contrast those statements with actual Democrat-driven policy positions that are largely responsible for the high price of energy (e.g., refusal to allow development of domestic sources for the last 30 years, refusal to consider proven alternatives, refusal to allow additional refinery capabilities, etc.)

Even further, it would be interesting to contrast those individuals' statements regarding biofuels which we now know with certainty have not lowered energy costs, and instead have increased food costs, harmed the world's food supply, and which in actuality cause far more pollution and environmental damage than fossil fuels.

It's time to end the biofuels boondoggle.

"So it seems Franken isn’t guilty of not paying taxes. He is guilty of paying the wrong states."

That's interesting spin. The facts are, Franken DID NOT PAY TAXES in 17 states. But you're right, it looks like he may have over paid in 2 states.

In other words, he absolutely IS guilty of not paying taxes. But he's also guilty of paying the wrong states, to a lesser degree.

In any case, what a fucking fiasco. The Democrats are hanging their hats on yet another stupid bastard... of course, when stupid bastards comprise your party, there's not much left to choose from.

Say, HC?

To recap, we got Franken's accountant payin' the wrong states, which means after payin' the correct states for the underage, he'll file an amended to get a refund from the states with the overage. It's a wash.

What's not a wash (it' a Blo 'n Go!) is Laurie Coleman's bidness, where she shamelessly shills her senatorial hubby.

The unansswered question remains: is she (and her shamelessly shilled senatorial hubby) pathetically incompetent bidnessfolk - losin' money for over 4 years - or, are they hiding the profits from Blo 'n Go?

Michael;
I think they zinged you too

http://www.tradingmarkets.com/.site/news/Stock%20News/1.../

WOOED BY THE TAXING AUTHORITIES

We like to pile on political candidates as much as the next group of scribblers, but it seems that the tax problems of Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Al Franken are a few billion dollars short of a juicy scandal.

Perhaps we feel that way because one among our far-flung opinion-page staff once made the mistake of trying to pay taxes for an in-home babysitter. A thousand pieces of computer-generated mail from the IRS later, this beleaguered parent ended up writing a check for something like $42. He was not convinced that this was the correct amount and believes that if he were to run for high office, partisan nudges would paint him as a tax cheat.

A point in Franken's favor is, as we understand it, that he overpaid his state taxes in New York and Minnesota and underpaid or did not pay states where he spoke or sold books or did some business as a celebrity-humorist-author. On balance, his campaign told reporter Rachel E. Stassen-Berger, out of more than $917,000 in state taxes paid from 2003 to 2006, he was short about $4,100.

He is paying all the unpaid states and is paying penalties and interest. He will then ask for refunds from New York and Minnesota. Good luck with that.

So it seems Franken isn't guilty of not paying taxes. He is guilty of paying the wrong states.

Been there, Al. If it makes you feel any better, the IRS resorted to harassing telephone calls long after the children were past the child-care stage of life. And somewhere in the basement sit multiple fat files of expensive, IRS-generated correspondence that led to payment of something like $42 to the U.S. Treasury."

Let's look at these other "mocking" comments, shall we?

"Prometea, the world's first cloned horse, gave birth Tuesday in Italy. The foal, named Pegasus, reportedly is doing well except for its eerie resemblance to John Elway."

Tasteless - truly tasteless.

Wonder when they go tasteless on Mrs. Senator Blo'nGo?

Maybe I'll send 'em a few suggestions.....
