RYBAK’S SPEEDING TICKET WAS ON SECOND DAY OF DFL CONVENTION IN ROCHESTER

By Michael B. Brodkorb | May 8, 2008

After hearing about WCCO’s breaking news story that Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak had a suspended driver’s license, I made a few calls.

WCCO’s online story lists the year of Rybak’s ticket and the county where Rybak was cited – Olmsted County.

According to my sources, Rybak received a speeding ticket on June 10, 2006 in Olmsted County.  June 10, 2006 was the second day of the DFL convention in Rochester.

Please check back to Minnesota Democrats Exposed for more information on this developing story.

Is all of this really done from your KITCHEN table, or was it just started at your KITCHEN table, as it read on that the small ad describing Minnesota Democrats Exposed (MDE)?

Just because all el presidente can make in a kitchen is garbage doesn’t mean that MDE isn’t able to turn out some pretty tasty political tidbits from his kitchen.

Not much of a political downside to Rybak, though. He’s safe in the bowels of DFL protection, and he can use this to promote a greener lifestyle. Still, yet another DFLer who can’t seem to play by the rules doesn’t make for a good reputation for the party.

Previous Minneapolis Mayor Sharon Sayles Belton got at least on speeding ticket when in office.

Perhaps we will have to start calling the current Minneapolis Mayor RT “Road and Track” Rybak.

Channel 9 was the reporter that stop him. They catch him lying on camera!!! He did not remeber how he got to work. WDFL covered up his lying, no suprise.

He also wears mismatch socks. What a stupid, cheesy schtick.

He was clearly about to drive, and he admitted being made aware of it earlier today.

Wow, a speeding ticket….. you’ll need to find something better than this Michael, to try to distract Minnesotans, Bloggers, anyone with a pulse, from the real story. I would link to the Strib article, but I am sure everyone here has read it already.

mismatched socks are pretty cheesy though…. I’ll give you that much, but a speeding ticket, is this blog worthy? And douchebert, i am sure you’d get a speeding ticket once in your life if you had a car, didn’t live with mom…. etc. etc….

    Yoni,

If I ignored a speeding ticket for that amount of time, there would probably be a bench warrant for my arrest, let alone driving with a suspended license.

Why is Rybak above the law?

I’ll answer my own question. He’s an arrogant, above the law, typical liberal hypocrite.

Willow, did Ryback say he was above the law?

Tell me, who did Ryback blame this on?

nerdbert: “Just because all el presidente can make in a kitchen is garbage…”
    ———————————
The small explanation on Google that MBB probably put was about sitting at the kitchen table. Looking at the i-chat photo the monitor didn’t look as if were sitting in the kitchen sink.

Someday perhaps you might find your diet of “tasty political tidbits” to be a tad on the bland side, or perhaps others might find your diet a bit old-fashioned.

I am continually amazed about some of the non-sense that I read that seems to pass for toughness, when in actuality it is no such thing.

His crimes of fashion are worse than his moving violations.

Pretty good for three in the morning, Chestnut.

  13. Red Girl Says:
    May 9th, 2008 at 6:39 AM

Yoni, it’s much more than your rant about a speeding ticket, duh.

It’s knowingly driving on a suspended license.

That’s where the typical liberal arrogancy comes into play.

  14. Greg Lang Says:
    May 9th, 2008 at 6:40 AM

Minneapolis Mayor “Road and Track Rybak” supported and endorsed Kieth Ellison who had to be driven around because he lacked a valid licence due to unpaid speeding tickets.

  15. Red Girl Says:
    May 9th, 2008 at 7:47 AM

Simple-to-follow laws and rules only apply to the simple folk.

Will Ryback be charged for driving with a suspended license like the rest of us peasants would be? Prolly not.

  16. Adamski Says:
    May 9th, 2008 at 8:40 AM

Why would he be charged? He says he didn’t drive himself, you don’t believe him?

He’s too stupid to tell the truth when caught. Shocking.

Beth should have waited until he drove home then asked him if he drove while suspended. He’d probably still lie about it.

  17. TwoPuttTommy Says:
    May 9th, 2008 at 8:54 AM

Honeydog, ya don’t get busted for ridin’ on the back of a bike.

  18. D Says:
    May 9th, 2008 at 9:14 AM

Rybak should just blame his failures on his accountant. That lie seems to work for others…

  19. D Says:
    May 9th, 2008 at 9:17 AM

    Alert for MDE!

Investigate Rybak’s expense receipts for his work as mayor. We all know Rybak goes to conferences in other cities…check for RENTAL CAR RECEIPTS! If his license is suspended, he’s breaking the law each time he rents a car.

  20. Newton Says:
    May 9th, 2008 at 9:43 AM

I wonder what would happen if I “inadvertently paid the wrong amount” on my property taxes?

I’d probably end up in jail – where I could talk politics with many of the former Minneapolis City Council members. (Zimmerman, Herron, Biernat)

  21. el presidente Says:
    May 9th, 2008 at 12:37 PM

If you wrote out a check for $ .01 less than your property tax bill, it could be an interesting study.

I wouldn’t think that you would end up in jail, however, if you got a strict, no nonsense, LAW & ORDER-TYPE judge, you very well end up in jail.

You might be a celebrity of the AIR WAVES and a fan of radicals, liberals, conservatives, and reactionaries.
