There is nothing in the tax law the forbids a 501(c)4 from endorsing a candidate. But a 501(c)3 is completely different. Minnesota Monitor is a 501(c)3 organization which is banned from any political activity. It is not supposed to make any statements for or against any candidate for office within an election year.
