MUST READ FROM MINNPOST: “CIRESI ON RE-ENTERING THE SENATE RACE: ‘ALL OPTIONS ARE OPEN’”

By Michael B. Brodkorb | June 5, 2008

“The Senate campaign of Mike Ciresi may be in revival mode.

‘All options are open,’
said Ciresi late Thursday afternoon when asked whether he is considering getting back into the race.

Ciresi said he is not likely to appear in at the state DFL convention in Rochester, Minn., this weekend, but he also indicated that even if there is an endorsed candidate coming out of the convention, he may run in a September primary. Before dropping out of the race in March, Ciresi had promised to abide by endorsement.” Source: MinnPost, June 5, 2008

“Ciresi said that issues about Franken’s writings as a ‘satirist’ have changed the playing field.

‘Whether it’s me, or somebody else,’ he said, ‘we have to have somebody who shows sounds judgment. Nobody’s perfect, but you’ve seen the things he’s written. I’ll say again, all options are on the table.’” Source: MinnPost, June 5, 2008

    Yup- told you so.

And Norms’s co-sponsorship of this Climate Change legislation “the most extensive government reorganization of the American Economy since the 1930′s” according to the WSJ- is going to tick off the base enough that they are NOT going to work for him. Any conservatives out there? I know a lot of people looking for a candidate.

I respect Norm’s campaign- but this is not looking good right now.

    Ciresi, huh?

He’s the guy that was in 4th place in a 3 man race, when he folded his tent.

(ok, for those who can’t figure that one out, Franken was in 1st, JNP was 2nd, and “Undecided” had more delegates than Ciresi. You know you’re suckin’ hind teat when you’re 4th in a 3 person race.)

I think that this might be an example of divergent thinking, as contrasted with convergent thinking.

Nelson-Pallmeyer – second from first place
Ciresi – fourth from first place
Franken – fourth from the last place
Undecided – second from the last place

On Valentines Day, Inside Minnesota Politics had an interesting article, “Is Franken really the “Front Runner” for the DFL US Senate endorsement?

I think that the delegates have a lot of discussing to do.

    Say, dolt #1?

You’re right. Go ahead and take half an hour to gaze longingly at your naked man picture…you’ve earned it.

Friends, among the fraudulent military hero, bestiality loving, pederast promoting, rape reveling, America hating Democrat party Al is the clear favorite.

Amassing enormous wealth through a career of ambulance chasing has its charm, sure. But for all out mockery of everything this country stands for, it is only Al Franken that can compliment Barack Obama on the Democrat ticket this fall.

That’s why I’m encouraging all Democrat delegates to join hands with Al Gore, Dolt #1 and Swiftee and ensure that Al Franken brings the Democrat message of moral pestilence, national degradation and economic disaster to Minnesota voters this campaign season.
