Never underestimate the ability of NOW to rationalize their support of candidates who do things exactly opposite of their views.

Substitute GOP for Pres. Bill Clinton, and NOW would have had daily protests about workplace sexual harassment.

Substitue Coleman for Franken, and again, same not stop protests.

Somehow NOW has become so wrapped up in their politics they now rationalize their view they speak for all women with the view that any GOP position is bad for women.

Are DFL's positions on tax business first and foremost bad for business's owned by women, run by women, invested in by women.

The fact is NOW is 100% compromised by their politics, their positions are so intertwined they are powerless, they are bound to the DFL. If that is empowerment, than there are plenty of women who would want out.

I have never figured out why special interest groups don't try to stay neutral or "up for grabs". Power is to those who have the ability to decide elections. Elections are not decided by those, whether DFL or GOP, who are taken for granted, but by those who have not made a decision. It applies in politics, business, life. The squeaky wheel get the grease/oil. If every election cycle, special interest grps would say we haven't made up their mind, they would get more real attention, not the std speech and give me your endorsement.

This applies across the political parties. True power is for those who make people earn their support every day, day in, day out.

"Just another person who doesn’t get Angry Al’s satire."

Somebody explain how raping a woman in this day and age is a joke?
Satirist: someone that makes jokes that are not funny, but hurtful.
The dfl strikes again.
The party of the downtrodden, downtrodding the downtrodden.

What a laugh.
Now that's a funny joke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[shift key stuff with the foregoing post: "The" should have been "the"; "Politics" should have been "politics."

However, in part, it seems as though: [then five things are listed] the [small t] foregoing is what REALLY counts in American politics.

Dave of VRWC (Vast Right Wing Conspiracy?) can explain Dave's quote.

However, in part, it seems to read as though:
-Jews
-Blacks, Converted Muslims (Ellison)
-50% Bi-racial Black (Obama)
-[Possibly more Jews? (Franken)]
-Folks that didn't have the right to vote until later (women, slaves)

The foregoing is what REALLY counts in American Politics.

Now, some folks may think that way, however, remember that scrutinizing someone means that in turn you, will probably be scrutinized.

What you think is ok, or what you make allowances for, someone else might not.

Karl Rove has talked about "Angry Al."

Angry Al's web site navigation now that he's won endorsement:

About Al (see video's of SNL skits, old Playboy articles and more!)

Give to Al (after all, Hollywood can't be the only
donor, it's just not done)

Al's Current Penthouse Letters

Issues (only stuff Al's willing to discuss)

Al's Apology (to anyone who's too sensitive and easily offended)

Joel R says in the previous post...."Each to his/her own, but I think that with all that’s wrong with Franken as a nominee — the awful (well, it’s worse than that) financial history of Air America, the nonpayment of workers comp, the tax stuff, the arrogance and ignorance — the focus on some of his comedic writings is misplaced.

It’s sort of like making fun of Obama for his ears."

I agree. I personally don't like him writing bad porn or unfunny Jokes in the past, but that is comparable to Democrats taking college essays of Republican judical nominations and disecting them. A bigger deal is Al Franken not able to deal with basic Big Government laws and regulations, but wanting to do to the Senate to increse such rules for those of us who work for a living. He feels it's not important for him to study up or hire someone to handle said compliance issues, but wants to go to Washington to rule over the working types.

Now, I wonder if any left wing Jews will back off from the Ellison-Obama support.
