DRAFT CIRESI RELEASE STATEMENT ON WEBSITE UNVEILING

By Michael B. Brodkorb | June 13, 2008

The three anonymous bloggers behind the Draft Ciresi website released a statement today. From the statement:

“We call on Mike Ciresi to re-enter the US Senate race and defeat Norm Coleman.” Source: DFL Activist Anonymous, June 12, 2008.

Click here for the complete statement.

I sent an e-mail to one of the bloggers requesting a comment about the website. I didn’t receive a response via e-mail, but they published a response to my e-mail on their blog today: “

I will discussing the new Draft Ciresi website during my radio show tomorrow from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. on AM 1280 The Patriot with King Banaian of SCSU Scholars.

UPDATE: l left this comment on the Draft Ciresi regarding their response to my e-mail:

“You would think that a blog that was encouraging Mike Ciresi to get in the race would act in the respectful manner in which Ciresi acted during the campaign.

A simple ‘no comment’ in response to my e-mail would have worked instead of ‘go to hell…’

We’ll see if the respond.

UPDATE #2: One of the bloggers behind Draft Ciresi has responded to my comment about the tone of their answer to my e-mail. Here is a portion of their response:

They added that they “resented” the fact that I e-mailed them requesting a comment about their blog. Click here to read the rest of their comments.

Their rich-boy, fat-boy candidate Mikey can go to hell, too. They’re just typical DFL liberals – spoiled whiney brats whose boy wasn’t endorsed do they’re throwing an online tantrum to harm their opponent.

    These Ciresi guys are classy.

These Ciresi guys are classy. I’m sure he’s proud.

I just love watching Democrats stab each other in the back; it’s so relaxing!

judging by the full frontal male nudity you posted here, that’s not all you love to watch, Scrotee.

Tommy: I’ve asked people to be respectful of your name and background. Please refer to Tom by his username, Swiftee.

Wow! Now the republicans are fabricating responses to their fabricated e-mails.

How convenient that they decided to keep the ruse alive.

  8. Patrick Black Says:

    Michael,

When you discuss Draft Ciresi tomorrow, please address the question of who Republicans would rather go against in the general. Would Mike or Franken be easier to beat? I read that you guys were elated when Franken got the nomination.

The site also states that you the you and the MN GOP have a massive amount of dirt on Franken that you are waiting to use at the most opportune moment, can this be addressed? I will be listening.

  9. Eva Young Says:

The Draft Ciresi website looks like astroturf to me.

  10. Leroy Jenkins Says:
    June 14th, 2008 at 12:27 AM

It looks like wilting astroturf to me.

No one in the MSM has picked this up, because the republicans are getting lazy when it comes to making fake websites that further their wishes.

Mike Ciresi is smart enough to know that this site purporting to draft him is a republican ruse. Most everyone who reads this site recognizes that it has been fabricated by the republicans. But rather than quietly back out of the lie, Michael is faking full on conversations with the supposed creators of the site.

Credibility. What a terrible thing to waste.

1st – USE CORRECT USER NAME
2nd – Attend to goings on about: stabbings, full frontal male nudity

    NICE!!

  13. el presidente Says:

    There seems to be:

    1. “Average Joe,” – name capitalized
    2. “average joe,” – in lower case letters

    Which is the more RUDE?

  14. Wade Seeker Says:
    June 14th, 2008 at 9:16 PM

Any libtard being reminded how hypocritical they are of course.

    “Which is the more RUDE?”

  15. Yoni Says:
    June 14th, 2008 at 10:00 PM

    Wade:

    congrats on another incoherent post!

  16. el presidente Says:
    June 14th, 2008 at 11:35 PM

From the definitions that I read, I am no “libtard.”

I am a person who usually favors the Democratic Farmer-Labor (DFL)Party in Minnesota.

Ron Carey, Chairperson of MN GOP, even spent many of the daylight hours of his 27th Wedding Anniversary at the MN State DFL Convention.

Are the statements that “Average Joe” makes more rude, than the statements that “average joe” makes.

  17. Chestnut Says:
    June 15th, 2008 at 9:04 PM

The “Draft Cerisi” crew’s response isn’t much of a surprise, given they are Democrats. Rude, hate-mongering, pricks… Democrats.

  18. el presidente Says:
    June 16th, 2008 at 12:37 AM

Remember that the MN GOP Chairperson, Ron Carey, chose to spend the day of his 27th Wedding Anniversary with the MN DFL Delegates to the State Convention.

Why would Ron Carey want to do such a thing if Democrats are as rude and hate-mongering as you key-in that you say that they are?
