COLEMAN FOR U.S. SENATE PRESS RELEASE: “COLEMAN CAMPAIGN STATEMENT ON AL FRANKEN TELEVISION AD”

By Michael B. Brodkorb | June 16, 2008

St. Paul – Coleman for Senate Campaign Manager Cullen Sheehan issued the following statement today in response to Al Franken’s new television ad:

As a person who advocated cutting off funds for American troops in Iraq, Al Franken is Johnny-come-lately to the debate. Senator Coleman already called on the Iraqi government to spend more of its oil revenues to rebuild its country and reduce the cost to U.S. taxpayers. Thanks to Senator Coleman’s ability to work across party lines, funding for infrastructure projects like the Northstar Commuter Rail, the 35W bridge and other critical needs are happening in Minnesota and across the country. More must be done, but it won’t get done through Franken’s personal partisan rhetoric that is already part of the problem in Washington.”

Can anyone seriously see Angry Al working with anyone across the aisle?

    I didn’t think so.

Osama bin Laden and the Democrat party… both deranged; both offended by U.S. presence in Iraq… both in absolute denial that Al Queda is defeated; both hate the U.S. military.

norMAN coleMAN, George Bush, & Dick Cheney

Three (3) peas in a pod.

    - Norm didn’t pass his New York draft physical
    - George watched for NVA while safe in TX-Mex.
    - Dick Cheney had deferments & Other Priorities, meaning that he got his wife pregnant, as being a man with children men with children was a qualifying deferment at that time.

Say, Chestnut? republiCons are the party of ChickenHawks. republiCons love war, as long as other people’s kids fight ‘em. That’s why Bush The Elder made sure George aWol Bush got in the TANG. But even Daddy Bush didn’t know Boy Blunder would get lost in ‘Bama.

I have to say that I am SHOCKED that Norm put out an angry press release responding to Als ads.

Yet another way to avoid issues.
