In the days leading up to this event I did eject Pomeroy’s kids from line when they tried to get tickets. Don’t recall if I was at the table when Walz showed up but if I was I would have kicked him out too.

In 2004 we did 9 rallies with President Bush and had to deal with militant protestors inside the event trying to disrupt things EVERY single time.

I support the 1st Amendment and anyone’s right to protest 100%. At every single event we had protestors who were given every opportunity outside to speak their mind and talk to the press.

What I despise and can not stand is people trying to sneak in and crash a political event. Be opposed, protest all you want, have a different opinion but show some respect to the highest office in the land and the person who holds it.

This guy’s sign is pretty bland, maybe if it said “F*&k Bush” or something you would have a story.

Is it the footwear? That I can understand, because any guy who wears those damn thong things deserves to be made fun of.

I think that is an honorable pledge MDE and I look forward to you sticking to that ideal especially as the political season heats up.

During the time period Kerry was in Vietnam, Norm Coleman was in high school.

At the time Norm Coleman appeared in front of the draft board, John Kerry was committing near acts of treason and telling massive lies about Vietnam vets.

Whether or not Kerry and Coleman appeared at the same protests, Norm Coleman never told horrendous lies about Vietnam Vets to the Senate committee and the world. And Norm Coleman never attended a meeting where plots to assassinate U.S. Senators were being hatched.

John Kerry did.

And that God that gold digging piece of shit isn’t our President.

I wonder if Kerry and Coleman were at the same anti-war protests? I don’t think Coleman ever had an opportunity to speak in front of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee either. I heard they invited him but he was too stoned and forgot the set his alarm.

In 1971, Kerry was engaged in far more sever and deceitful acts…

Bottom line is the issue created a major distraction and worked only to discredit the very legitimate case against Kerry…

Keep in mind I mentioned the purple hearts because Yoni was trying to show how much better John Kerry was than Norm Coleman was because Kerry got purple hearts (see her post #36)

Furthermore if you had read Unfit for Command one of the reasons why the Swift Boat Veterans raised the issue was that Kerry used getting three purple hearts as his excuse to get out of Vietnam. If the standard of self inflicted wound not getting a purple heart is used Kerry couldn’t have gamed the system. The fact that he disgraced himself since he left the services highlights this.

And lets not forget he was still technically in the Navy the day he testified in front of Congress so he couldn’t testify and he was a self admitted war criminal according to his own testimony.

The dishonorable discharge which he is trying to hide is just one of many things about his record we don’t know.

But given the facts that we raised Yoni has no case to be praising John Kerry the way that Yoni praised John Kerry.

The whole bit about what he did and whether or not he “earned” the purple hearts is a major distraction from the real, troubling issues regarding John Kerry’s disservice to his country.

Keep in mind one of those purple hearts for John Kerry to use his own spokesperson was an, “Unintentional self inflicted wound” By all standards the purple heart isn’t suppose to be awarded for self inflicted wounds.

One thing that the Swift Boat veterans did was ask these questions. Kerry’s officer said he didn’t put in for that purple heart. Now an examination of his naval record will help, but Kerry unlike President Bush has never allowed his record to be examined.

He wasn’t out earning Purple Hearts… he had done that over the course of six weeks, two years earlier.
