MDE AND MN PUBLIUS BI-PARTISAN HAPPY HOUR

By Michael B. Brodkorb | June 18, 2008

The first Minnesota Democrats Exposed & MN Publius Bi-Partisan Happy Hour will be on July 9 at Billy’s on Grand in St. Paul. The event starts at 5:30 p.m.  This isn’t just a blogger event, although free Wi-Fi is available if you wish to blog.  This event is an opportunity for people of differing political parties to get together and have fun for a few hours.

Bloggers, non-bloggers, Republicans, Democrats, Independents, reporters, and candidates for office are all invited. The happy hour is three weeks from today and I’ll have more posts advertising the event.

Is this some sort of riot control training exercise for the Saint Paul police?

    Just kidding. Great idea.

Thanks, I hope you can join us.

Gee, I *hate* to miss an opportunity to socialize with a bag of lefty assholes, but my ear has a previous appointment with a red-hot ice pick.

    Maybe next time, Mike.

Billy’s better stock up on the Busch Light for the Republican hordes.

I’m there. Sounds like a great idea.

    You should come, Swiftee.

So are the MNpoopoo guys going to take a timeout from character assassination on low to mid-level GOP staffers, or should Republican operatives just not show up for fear of being photographed sitting down or at a baseball game?

Oh, Swiftee you rediculous looser! I’m in if you’re in. I can be your bodyguard.

  9. Annaheim Says:
    June 18th, 2008 at 3:09 PM

I wish you knew how to spell “loser”…

  10. LearnedFoot Says:
    June 18th, 2008 at 3:19 PM

    Anna-

You missed the mispelling of “ridiculous”.

(Bet you also didn’t catch my misspelling of “mispelling”)

More advice: inside jokes make more sense when you’re on the inside.

    Curious….

If we go to the big moonbat shindig at Billy’s, Foot, will enlightened, hip, liberals make fun of our spoken use of the spoken English language?

Will they impose their mad fashion skillz on us too?

    Rediculous!

    Foot-Spa,

Inside jokes make more sense when your blog didn’t jump the shark a year ago…

Swiftee and LearnedFoot: I hope you both attend. If should be a fun event.

I wonder if Michele Bachmann approves of the word “skillz”. I’ll have Aviduh make a halarious photoshop about that.

    Assaheim,

You are obviously misinformed and/or dumb.

My blog jumped the shark three years ago.

(No need to look anything up.)

    Yes:

The term “jump the shark” itself jumped the shark 3 years ago.

    Master of None:

Your handle sounds familiar, but I can’t quite place who you are…

    Curious.

Yeaaaah, you know I really can’t think of a better way to spend a pleasant afternoon than watching an assembly of witless morons (as illustrated by Assaheim, dolts #1-4, & their ilk) get smashed on wine spritzers.

Have your people get in touch with my people.

Never fear once the libtards find out that it’s a cash bar and not “open” none will show up.

  28. Penigma Says:
    June 24th, 2008 at 4:13 PM

    Foot,

Who’ll be your bodyguard? Not that you’d need it, most lefties are a lot more sane than folks like Swifliar.

I’ll be there if I can be – but I think I’m in DC that day. More’s the pity, I actually would like to meet you – all kidding aside – I think you’re probably an ok guy – and if Swift isn’t there, maybe we could actually have a discussion. Well, there’s a chance anyway.

If I’m not, then perhaps next time. Michael, thank you for putting this on with Publius.

That said, as DJZ says – some of the responses here pretty well define the quality of a great many of your readers.. not so nice.
