You call this a "town hall meeting" with "unscripted questions" when it was invitation only--and the McCain campaign was doing the inviting? Nice try, guys.

OK reality for one second; Sen. Norm Coleman was not there- RIGHT!. Because he does not wish to be interviewed about Iraq etc. and only 35 people attend. GOP Minnesota???????????????????????

Go fast forward the date is Sept 25, 2008 Presidential Candidate Mc Cain is in St. Paul Town Hall meeting #3; a past hero of the Vietnam War! Jack Shepard wins the GOP Primary by over 1,000,000 votes against Norm Coleman! I CAN AS YOU SAID PAST REALITY IN THINKING AND DREAMING!

NOW Republican US Senate Candidate Jack Shepard opens his brief remarks; I was lucky. Man I was real lucky!!! I WAS NOT A CAPTIVE AND TORTURED DURING THE VIETNAM WAR!

But can you imagine that if Jack Shepard was standing near to Sen. McCain in the St. Paul Town Hall meeting on Sept. 25, 2008. AWESOME PRESS MEDIA ATTENTION-

Because Jack Shepard was attending the Town Hall Meeting to show his support for Sen. Mc Cain not 35 people attended but over 12,000+ people and reporters attending seem strangely interested in Jack Shepard and to hear his reasons why Minnesota should think again from it’s present 20% lead in the polls for Obama.

It would be awesome? Or not!

“strong Democrat” .. speaking of them, I was at a McCain town hall event last Friday here in NJ, and there was at least one “strong Democrat” who came to show her support (she is behind the sign on the left):

Also note the top left of the photo and see the nuts who showed up (did not disrupt though)

El Prez:
Um....no. There were well more than 1 or 2 minorities there, but nice try.
From that ONE picture of ONE angle from where Michael was sitting, maybe, but there were 350 tickets given out, sorry I didn't count exactly who was in the town hall space itself, but it was well over 200 people surrounding the Senator. And asking him unscripted questions. And he would ask them after he answered if they felt he had addressed the question fully. And he would accept follow up questions if they felt one was necessary. And he actually knew the answers and not once did he mention the 58 United States. Or the Nuremburg trials. And he told us stuff he knew some people didn't want to hear but knew we should. I was a Fred Head, then a Romney supporter, but after last night, I feel much more comfortable supporting John McCain. He is not perfect, but I shudder to think of a nation under Obama as president.
And I saw blacks, Cambodians, Hispanics and several non-identifiable non-whites; plus several people whom I either knew to be Democrats or were self-proclaimed DFL'ers. So, as much as you may want to cast aspersions about an event you didn't attend, you have fallen flat.

No way does Obama handle an event like this as well as McCain can. The guy can read of a teleprompter, but can't think on his feet. I guarantee you McCain smokes Obama during the debates (that is if Obama has the set to accept a debate).

approximate site count:

about 35 people, and 1 minority; possibly 2 more

[seems to be the best photo yet in regard to ethnic minority site count percentage]
