If you want to criticize Liberals perhaps you should look at the Liberal Party.

Democratic Farmer Labor (DFL) is the name of the Party that you are trying to criticize but, can't quite bring yourself to say those three (3)words.

_If_ she was green screened in, wouldn't that be better than having her fly from California to Minnesota for an ad? Think of the CO2 and greenhouse gases that were saved. Why aren't you liberals celebrating that?

The liberals are trying to find some scandal because of disgraced newsreader Dan Rather's shenanigans.

Also, the only thing the libs are complaining about is the technical characteristics of the ad. Nothing substantial (just like their Senate candidate).

If the politician is 70, and his adult children from a prior marriage are 50 to 40, and his newer [trophy] wife is 35, it could brings up an interesting twist for Stonewall Jackson.

I agree with Tommy to this extent, namely that a politician's spouse is fair game for criticism, comment, or both if the spouse enters the fray and campaigns for the politician.

As a market-based Republican, I say that we should let the marketplace of voters decide if attacks on a politician's spouse have gone too far. The voters are pretty smart when it comes to this sort of thing.

However, no one should attack the politician's children even if the children campaign for the politician. That's going beyond the line.

Jack Nelson Pallmeyer becomes a leader of a huge anti-war movement. Norm eventually joins the movement reliving his youthful days and says to heck with trying to play Senator.

Jesse Ventura goes on to write more books with the addition of co-author Dean Barkley.

Mike Ciresi captures the middle Minnesota voter.

And Laurie Coleman and Al Franken are a dynamic duo on Saturday Night Live and tour the country as political make-believe husband and wife.

Will Norm be holding a cup of coffee on the left side of the screen, and will Laurie take the garbage Outback in the DARK OF THE NIGHT, where she is rescued from a RIGHTY RAPIST, by Senate Candidate Al Franken.

Who is invited into the kitchen to have a cup of coffee, and somehow manages to get Laurie Coleman to make a guest appearance on Saturday Night Live (SNL).

Now this is Average Joe with capital letters. There was another average joe with lower case letters.

In the Blo & Go Ad that I have a copy of Laurie states that Norm doesn't blow dry my hair.

Q. Why doesn't Norm blow dry Laurie's hair [as is stated in the Blo & Go ad?

A. Perhaps he's too busy taking out the trash.

Fidel Hussein Carterbama has an entire web site answering the smallest of non-rumors - and that's okay. Coleman answers one non-sensical thing like this and somehow that's giving credibility to the "rumor".

MIKE HATCH HAS DOUBLE-STANDARD ABOUT PROTECTING THE PRIVACY OF FAMILY MEMBERS #2
By Michael B. Brodkorb | July 30, 2006

I would take Mike Hatch's concerns about the privacy of his daughters more seriously if he didn't have a section of his website called "Hatch Family".

Now, I'd take Michael Brodkorb more seriously concerning Laurie, who shamelessly shilled her senatorial hubby on her commercial website, if Brodkorb actually actually admitted his inconsistentency with what he wrote less than one year ago.

Danno, your comment is dead on. The fact that the Coleman camp even responded to what we were saying (after like a day at that) validates us just pointing out how silly the ad looks and made it into a bigger issue than what it was.

What is purported to be Laurie Coleman, is in reality Tommy Johnson in his official Team Franken "man up" dress.

The footage was actually taken at an undisclosed location in front of a green screen, then, using technology developed by Haliburton, Karl Rove did the editing.

Chill out ya'll, the "liberal blogoshpere" only commented on the odd look of the ad. Besides the weird camera angle, there was nothing wrong with the ad. I would even say that the message was pretty effective. However, the fact that you guys have had such a knee jerk reaction to the fairly innocent comments concerning the ad makes it seem even more odd. In the end, no one that sees this ad on television is going to care about these comments, even if they do notice something off in the filming.

I remember how vicious liberals were in the '70's as they mocked any conservative who believed in anything even close to conspiracies. Today, liberals have become the Conspiracy Center of the Universe. Everything they believe is about conspiracies - from 9/11 to political commercials. It's got to be a very sad, secluded life these people lead as they're afraid of shadows around every corner.

Well if she was green screened in because she wasn't able to actually be in Minnesota to shoot the ad in the person, where else would she be? Jamaica? Iceland? The moon? It's a pretty obvious train of thought to say California, where she lives.
