FILING PERIOD OPENS FOR CANDIDATES

By Michael B. Brodkorb | July 1, 2008

Candidates for state and federal offices started formally filing for office this morning at the Secretary of State’s office. The filing period is close on July 15 at 5:00 p.m.

Click here to view the filings.  Every two years there are always a few surprieses, so please check back to Minnesota Democrats Exposed for updates.

UPDATE: It appears that Representative Joyce Peppin was the first candidate to file for office.

Thank you for the link! It’s great having a secretary of state that is so willing to supply interesting information like that.
