LIBERAL BLOG UPSET AT FACTS AND ACCURATE QUOTES BEING ADDED TO FRANKEN’S WIKIPEDIA PAGE; SAME LIBERAL BLOG BUSTED FOR LEAVING UNSIGNED ATTACK COMMENTS ON FRANKEN’S WIKIPEDIA PAGE #2

By Michael B. Brodkorb | July 2, 2008

One of the bloggers behind MN Campaign Report, Jeff Rosenberg, responded to an e-mail I sent about the unsigned comments from “MNCampaignReport” left on the discussion page of Al Franken’s Wikipedia page. Jeff wrote that he “never left unsigned comments anywhere…”

As I noted Nn the Pioneer Press’ blog Political Animal, the owner of MN Campaign Report has never publically disclosed on their blog or on Franken’s Wikipedia page who left the the unsigned comment.  Since multiple people blog at MN Campaign Report, it could be the owner of the blog or another blogger who blogs at MN Campaign Report that left the unsigned comments on Al Franken’s Wikipedia page.  It’s a simple question: who left the unsigned comments on Franken’s Wikipedia page as “MNCampaignReport”?

This is classic John Bodell. Every so often, he does something completely stupid, thinking he’s going to “get away with something.”

I guess I’ll give John the benefit of the doubt on this. I assume he will shortly post that it wasn’t him who made the unsigned comments.

I obviously think making blind comments is fine (it would be very John Bodell of me not to believe that). But he shouldn’t then criticize others when he’s tossing stones around in his glass house.

MDE, keep being open about this stuff. It is part of what makes you such a strong blogger.
