How many members of the MN Legislature are teachers? A ton.

Tim Walz is still just an empty semen sack. And worthy of being de-elected.

Most folks who are pulling for teachers lie and say they are pulling for “the children”, and for the most part refuse to put a relative value on teaching labor. The status quo is just “not enough”.

There is nothing, not even a little bit, wrong with being a history teacher. It is simply not as impressive as being an Oncologist (at a prestigious institution no less) OR being a nuclear engineer. *shrug*

And why do Republicans undervalue being a teacher so much? It’s not the most glamorous job or take the most education and in-depth knowledge of something, but we’re all certainly a product of them.

And Dick Day should get out of the way.

Here’s a tack you should agree with, based on your political philosophy: if they didn’t have a secret plan, what are they trying to hide?

The campaign began the quarter with $50,445.50 cash-on-hand and about $10,000 in unpaid bills. During Q2, itemized contributions of $200 or more totaled $238,671.00, while small contributions added up to $29,709.55.

Although the report lists $376,718.72 cash on hand, the Davis campaign owes $19,513.82 to its vendors. So far, Brian Davis has loaned or given $184,614.26 to his campaign in 2008 cycle.

Meanwhile, Tim Walz raised $430,000 from 2,500 contributors in Q2, with no bills owed to vendors, over $1.2 million cash on hand. Over $2 million has been raised since announcing his re-election bid. There is a lot of support for Walz. The fundraising numbers will increase as the Fall election approaches.

Makes me wonder how much the NRCC is going to kick in. Not much I am figuring. The track record of Tom Cole in losing 3 Red Districts in Special Elections this year, this race will not even be close. Tim Walz has over a 40 point lead over Brian Davis at the moment.

Walz is going to win by a pretty solid margin. You guys should focus on at least retaining MN-2, MN-3, and MN-6. Much better shots are getting a Republican elected there than MN-1.

1) Cheney had “secret policy discussions” with energy industry leaders (which I already knew)
2) A lot of grousing about #1
3) Some cheap conspiracy theories about #1

“Davis loans his own campaign 1/3 of it’s money”

You all ripped Mark Dayton for buying his senate seat (he did). So, where are you when it comes to Brian Davis attempting the same thing in a congressional race?

Those who use Cheney to demonize Davis are doing nothing more than killing their potential valid arguments against Davis’s win against an empty semen sack named Tim Walz.

There is no secret plan. It is to drill for oil (which Democrats won’t do) to lower prices.

It is to use coal and nuclear (which Democrats won’t do) to lower prices.

The secret plan as you refer to is the Democrats driving up the price of energy for people because the Democrats don’t care what the price of energy is.

Also, I don’t remember ever defending Cheney, so please let me know where it is you got that impression.

I find it funny that after giving himself $124,000, that the campaign only has $376,000 on hand.

When 1/3 of your money is coming from the candidate himself, is it really accurate to call it a grassroots effort?

So if Davis is running “to finding solutions to gas prices”, he’s running against Boy Blunder And The Plunderers.

Which is kind of funny, as Davis was just up in Wayzata for a fundraiser with Cheney as the “special guest.”

Only a republiCon runs against the policies of a guy who helps raise him dough for his run.

And it sounds like Davis is indeed, a republiCon.

Walz better watch his own backyard rather than running for Governor like he has been. He is no where near safe in that seat.

There is no way an Obama/Franken Democrat like Walz will ever be totally safe in MN01.

Someone should remind Davis that he’s not running against Gutknecht; Gutknecht lost 2 years ago.
