FRANKEN PAC FEC FINE NOTED IN ROLL CALL STORY

By Michael B. Brodkorb | July 10, 2008

“National Republican Senatorial Committee spokeswoman Rebecca Fisher also blasted Franken for his ‘insensitive judgement’ on that issue and news that recently surfaced showing his Midwest Values Political Action Committee was fined $7,200 by the Federal Election Committee for failing to file a post-general election report in 2006.

‘Al Franken has yet to prove he is a serious candidate and we will continue to remind voters of his outrageous comments and insensitive judgment,’ Fisher said. ‘The FEC fine that was recently discovered is just more proof that he has no intention of being completely honest with the voters of Minnesota.’” Source: Roll Call (subscription required), July 10, 2008

Any republican who refused to vote for Tim Pawlenty when he was given the largest fine ever recorded by the campaign finance and public disclosure board has the leeway to talk on this issue.

But until you hold everyone accountable, regardless of party affiliation, you lose the right to hold ANYONE accountable.

Leroy, republiCons do NOT practice what they preach; that is why they are headed for Permanent Minority Status, and why GOP now stands for GreedOverPrinciples.

And they will stay there, until they purge the party of their hypocritical leadership.

Don’t recall, did Pawlenty attempt to hide the fact that he was fined like Franken did? Isn’t that the real issue? Trying to hide the fine? It is with me. But I’m sure you amoral Democrats don’t give a rats ass about that because it only proves once again what a bunch of idiots you are.

Pete, where did you get the idea Franken attempted to hide the fine??!?

Oh, wait: Uncle Ronnie said “Facts are stupid things”, and you do your damnedest to live that out.

Equally accountable? What if a difference is found in their respective “crimes”, Leroy Jenkins?

“you lose the right to hold ANYONE accountable”

Now I think you are just being silly.

    Tommy Johnson said:

“Leroy, republiCons do NOT practice what they preach”

That means so very little coming from you, Tommy Johnson.

Go with that, Troy – that makes it easier for you to ignore reality.

I look forward to never hearing another word from Tommy or Leroy. Thanks for the memories, guys!

Say, cheeto boy? Great shot of your bulging gut last night! How many bags of Cheeto’s did you stuff into your gob yesterday, anyway?

Looks like you were just about ready to bust, boy!

    Hhahahahahahaaaa…have another twinkie, dolt!…hahahahahaha

You must keep than one one your clipboard, Tommy Johnson. You seem to think it’s appropriate for almost every thread you participate in. Please look up the word “redundant”.

Troy, he’s got it written on his forehead in Cheeto’s grease.

God you guys are 5 year olds.

Anywho, didnt he get the fine for filing the reports late? Doesnt really seem like a big deal to me.

  12. Tommy Johnson Says:
    July 11th, 2008 at 9:45 AM

Andrew, yes, the fine was for filing reports late; and Franken fine wasn’t the only one leveled.

What the hypocritical republiCons are ignoring while throwing stones at Franken, is repuliCon Ron got fined $16,000 in 2001 for filing a FEC report late.

Actually, it’s getting to the point that when the republiCons accuse a democrat of something, it’s a safe bet they already have done it themselves.
