MDE & MN Publius have a Wednesday late afternoon/evening Happy Hour [Love-In?], and this morning MDE states:

“The rumor mill is flying this morning…”
    ———————————————-

Is the rumor mill sometimes fueled by “windy” conditions?

Are the words “check back” and “this developing story” included?

Is Al Franken, the DFL endorsed candidate, expected to “file” during the next few days?

Did MN GOP Chairperson, Ron Carey, witness the State DFL endorsement of Al Franken on his (Carey’s) 27th Wedding Anniversary?

Perhaps THESE MDE-TYPE REPORTED RUMORS are only SEMI-flying around.

    el p,

Are you on crack or something? At least try to make some sense would you.

A of H: At LEAST try to make SOME SENSE?

C’mon, an endorsed candidate of a major political party in Minnesota.

    ~Rumor mill is flying
~He only has a few more days left in which to file
~This is a “flying” rumor? Doesn’t it make sense that A.F. would file today or within the next few days?

Has Rasmussen released any polls recently? How is the Brodkorb/Carey smear campaign working? Does Norm still have his double digit lead over Franken?

    Yes, it is working :)

Seems to me, Audacity, that you can’t read polls all that well.

According to this, Norm’s double digit edge has evaporated, and the candidates are back within the margin of error.

I hope this doesn’t mean that Norm is finally going to have to *GASP* talk about issues.

Ouch. 48-45 Coleman. MOE is 4.5. It is definitely not a good day for the Coleman team.

The unfavorable ratings are interesting: Coleman 45, Franken 50, Ventura 62. Franken no longer has the highest unfavorables in the race!

Keep up the great work Brodkorb and Carey.

  8. Terry Says:

Ummmmm. Leroy…I think that is why he put the smiley face after his comment.

  9. Michael B. Brodkorb Says:
    July 10th, 2008 at 11:38 AM

Left is RIGHT: The poll is a month old.

  10. Kyle Christensen Says:
    July 10th, 2008 at 11:51 AM

Leroy says: “Seems to me, Audacity, that you can’t read polls all that well.”

That’s hilarious, given that dumb shit can’t read the date the poll was taken all that well. If he could, he’d realize there’ve been polls taken since where Franken support dropped precipitously.

    LOL!

  11. Andrew Says:
    July 10th, 2008 at 1:26 PM

Michael, I believe the worst of all the trouble with Franken and all the media attention was about a month ago so the poll being a month old is even better for us, oh snap!

  12. Patrick Black Says:
    July 10th, 2008 at 2:03 PM

    So, has he filed???

  13. Leroy Jenkins Says:
    July 10th, 2008 at 2:45 PM

    Kyle-

Does the date of the poll change the content?

Seems to me, my original point remains. You can’t read polls.

  14. Pete Says:
    July 10th, 2008 at 3:45 PM

Leroy, old news doesn’t mean shit. Current polls matter. Norm is kicking butter boy Al’s butt. You need to stop living in the past son.

  15. Terry Says:
    July 10th, 2008 at 3:51 PM

Yes. He filed. And, Norm has a primary opponent. Awesome campaign disclosure form.
