When exactly did I say I “loved” the ad?

I can appreciate an ad even if I don’t agree with it.

The ad was funny, not Superbad funny, but good for a political ad.

Every Franken ad I’ve seen has been boring and lame. It is just Franken talking.

And keep personal attacks to yourself. If you can’t make your agruement without them, than you already lost.

Where are his citations to his “astounding” claims

Forget the pathetic schtick and talk about: how he cut taxes, fought against needless gov’t regulation and nanny-statism, and what he has done to effectively deal with illegal immigration.

The sad truth is that he has not done much about any of these aforementioned issues in any kind of a conservative way.

I could care less about hockey. What does that do for me! Subsidizing a bunch of men to play a game. You have to pander with peoples “entertainment” to get their votes. Sad!

Just imagine if the Democrats had a somewhat decent candidate to run against him. Boy did they blow this opportunity!

After wasting 30 seconds of my life on this, I will just have to squeeze my nose that much harder when casting my vote for him.

This was a piss poor ad, and that is coming from a liberal who liked the Laurie Coleman ad. It was actually painful for me to watch.

Hype Jesus you are a hypocrite, you’ll love ever Coleman ad and hate every Franken ad. How can you try to differentiate yourself from the people you are criticizing in your post.

You are indeed a toolbox, and a poorly engineered one at that. I think you brought stupid back.

I think it was a good ad.

The reason some won’t see it that way is becasue they already know they are not going to vote for him.

It doesn’t matter what the ad says or how it’s made, they just won’t like it.

While I might think Franken’s ads a boring and lame, I bet you guys love’em.

It’s weak.

Energy independence?? He voted against ANWAR. Wind and renewables? Must mean ethanol. Wind is an unreliable supplemental energy at best and ethanol is the biggest joke ever played on the American people. Hell, the world!

Brought hockey back? Big deal! Public money spent on professional sports. Yeehaw.

Focus on how he SAVED us money, shrunk government and kicked the UN in the ass. If he can communicate that then he has a powerful add.

I thought it was good for a political ad. Someone should make a parody ad like the “blue screen with face ad that tells what Franken has done for Minnesota. In the background someone can keep saying “He brought us liberal talk radio” or “He brought us Air America”.

At least he’s trying to talk about issues.. but, why no citations to any of his accomplishments? Usually an ad will at least make an effort to cite the record.

What it’s not, however, is funny. I don’t get the strategy to try and out-funny Franken.
