Would Mr. Coleman please come out with a commercial that explains how he has worked toward: cutting run-away government spending, effectively dealing with illegal immigration, eliminating ear-marks, doing away with a myriad of counter-productive social programs, supporting domestic drilling off our shores and in ANWR while searching for alternatives that DO NOT need to be subsidized (if ethanol is so great, let it stand on its own in the market), creating legislation that would allow more Americans to obtain healt-care through free-market solutions (health savings accounts, getting rid of needless mandates, making insurance plans portable, etc.).

Please get rid of these jokers, get in front of a camera yourself, and address the aforementioned issues for a substantial part of your voting block!

The poll of likely Minnesota voters conducted by Quinnipiac University has Obama up 46 to 44, within the survey’s margin of sampling error. Last month, the same pollsters put Obama 17-percentage points ahead of McCain.

Meanwhile, the same poll of 1,261 voters gives Republican incumbent Norm Coleman a 15-point lead over Democratic challenger Al Franken in the state’s U.S. Senate contest.

As careful Franken watchers know, Al Franken didn’t pay taxes in 18 states he was supposed. It gives not a shit whether or not he paid other taxes to other states.

The ad skirts the truth in its attack, however. As careful Senate watchers know, Franken did pay state income tax but paid it to the wrong states and Franken didn’t pay enough workers compensation insurance taxes in New York state but no one went without insurance as a result. Question: The truth is bad enough for Franken, why bother to exaggerate and misstate it in a TV ad?
