GOVERNOR PAWLENTY PRESS CONFERENCE ON MCCAIN & OBAMA ENERGY POLICIES

By Michael B. Brodkorb | July 24, 2008

Governor Pawlenty had a press conference today at Bobby & Steve’s Auto World in Bloomington to talk about the differences in the energy platforms of Senator McCain and Senator Obama.  Please click on the picture to view a slideshow from Pawlenty’s event.

While the event was about energy policy, the press seemed focused on asking Pawlenty questions about the vice-presidential selection process and his campaigning on behalf of McCain.  Jeff Blodgett, state director of Obama’s presidential campaign in Minnesota, had a press conference to respond to statements made by Pawlenty.

They should be asking questions.. has this guy done anything for the state of minnesota the last year while he’s been homering for McCain?

Sure, and then they can ask Barak Obama if he has ever accomplished anything on behalf of:

    a) The citizens of Chicago
    b) The citizens of Illinois
    c) The citizens of the United States of America

The resounding answer is “no” he hasn’t. So why does that arrogant, ignorant gaffe artist think we should elect him President?

Wow! Ron Carey has put on a few pounds.

Obama has no plan on energy….I think this is a winning issue for McCain.

Bobby and Steve’s has an E85 pump at their stations. How about our Governor doing photo ops tomorrow at the Ford Ranger plant and the now poured 35W bridge decks.

Angry Al Franken didn’t have anything to do with either accomplishment.

The sign above PawClaws’ head reads:

    “DINE-IN
    TAKE-OUT”

I’ve never eaten at this Bloomington “Dine-in; Take-out” place however, from what I have read…you probably can get gas.

If PawClaws continues to hold NewsConferences directly IN FRONT OF AUTOMOBILES, he might have to amend the name in the front of the podium to McPain.

I think that this is an EXXONMOBIL “DINE-IN;TAKE-OUT.”

The older logo can be seen on the pump.

Note also “hot dogs”. To a “satarist” like Angry Al franken that would probably mean “Andy Rooney = hot dog, Leslie Stahl = bun”.

Looks like Tommy there. After a better look I knew it wasn’t, Tommy’s much heavier.
