MPR: “COLEMAN LEADS FRANKEN BY 15 POINTS IN LATEST POLL”

By Michael B. Brodkorb | July 24, 2008

“The Quinnipiac poll also gives Republican Senator Norm Coleman a 15-point lead over DFL challenger Al Franken.

The poll looks problematic for Franken, not only because Coleman leads him 53 to 38 percent, but also because pollsters say 20 percent of Minnesota Democrats plan to vote for Republican Norm Coleman.” Source: MPR, July 24, 2008

And Rasmussen says they are even.

    What exactly is your point?

You reap what you sow. So. Leroy, RCP has the average of all major polls at Coleman ahead 6.7%. I would say that is a good point!

for those of you that doubt the pollsters, go to the bookies on intrade.com. the bad news is obama favored by bookies 60/40; the good news is coleman favored 65/35 over democratic candidate.

    follow the cash.

And I would say that after several months of double digit leads, 6.7 proves that unlike Favre, Norm is coming back to the pack.

What’s fascinating is that Angy Al Franken’s strongest support (in relative terms) is among women. “Porn O Rama” et all should affect the “women’s vote” most in the long run.

    WHO DOES KATHERINE LANPHER ENDORSE?

  7. el presidente Says:

The media personality born in 1959 probably endorses Bret Favre as QB of the MN Vikings.

  8. Oil Driller Says:

Did anyone hear Michelle Bachmann on the Jason Lewis show tonight? That was a great interview and hits the Democrats directly in the sack. Down load the Podcast, it’s well worth it.

    Funny,

again you only mention polls which are (more) favorable to Coleman. Nothing like skewing reality for your dedicated readers Michael.

  10. MplsSteve Says:

Oil Driller, most Democrats don’t have a sack.

Take a look at any post by Leroy Jenkins or Tommy Johnson, two original pieces of DFL trailer trash.

  11. Chestnut Says:
    July 24th, 2008 at 9:44 PM

    Yoni,
Eight out of nine polls are favorable to Coleman, by about the same percentage points.

I don’t think it’s MDE that’s skewing reality for anyone. The reality is, Franken’s down considerably.

    Thank God!

  12. FJR Says:

    Bye Bye, Al.

  13. Greg Lang Says:

Now, now! Liberal Progressive Democrats “know” that the only real poll is the Star Tribune Poll.
