You’re overlooking a reason for the major gains the Democrats did in 2006 was because Republicans were not enthused and didn’t vote. Trust me Obama and Al have done more than enough to get us to show up on election day. The other thing is that people were sick and tired of war stories because Bush hadn’t done the surge. Since the surge has been done the Democrat argument of pulling out is worthless and even Obama is talking of a “Surge” in Afghanistan.

With the two lynch pins of the Democrat victory gone you folks are in deep trouble.

Tommy, you like the dim Democrat Party prospects this November? You like the idea that these two clowns at the top of the ticket are going to result in more Republicans being elected? Obama is having a very difficult time right now and Anal Al has no chance of winning in Minnesota. You are in for a hugh disappoinment on Nov. 4.

I like to see guys like Chestnut representing the “Party Of Respectable Language.”

I like to see guys like Jeff “Landlord” Larson representing the GOP Convention Host Committee.

I like to see guys like republiCon operative Peter Hong representing the “Party Of Family Values.”

I like seeing elected republiCons like Ted “Where’s My Bridge?” Stevens firmly attached to ol’ Smokescreen.

And I like the Democratic Party’s prospects this November.

DJZ, you have it all wrong once again. The weak Obama ticket should be ahead by 20-30 points in the polls. Instead it is a dead heat. In Minnesota the DFL has Obama and Anal Al “leading” the party. This will of course result in many seats that might have gone to the left to go to Republicans because the DFL has such a weak ticket. The DFL has once again shot themselves in the foot. I for one appreciate your efforts.

Seems to me Wally that McCain who has been involved in the national scene for ten years can’t get above 45/46 himself. He’s the better known quantity and can’t get the 50%. Please note the half-dead liar only shot ahead by throwing mud this week. He has no message, no plan for America but plenty of jokes and mud.

One can conclude that this is up to Obama as the left agenda is the preferred one and Obama has been able to rally people to his cause especially with 90 days to go. The second thing is, prepare for an onslaught of new Dems in Congress.

Even if we loose the White House, a super majority in Congress and a weak, wishy-washy, souless, President like McCain, we’ll still get our agenda of energy, immigration, environment and economy passed and signed.

Democrats are finally in a win-win situation.

Only poll that counts is in November. Anything showing leads one way or another only count if you get the people to show up.

It’s only interesting here, Leroy, because it’s consistent with what a number of other surveys are reporting.

The Rassmussen survey on the Coleman/Franken race is interesting for its consistency, but its results are sever outliers to what 8 other surveys indicate.

Interesting how the obvious is always lost on you.

Funny. When Rasmussen had Coleman and Franken tied a few weeks back, the general consensus was that they were a bunch of inaccurate kooks.

It is amazing how good numbers can change one’s perspective…

It’s far too early to take this stuff too seriously, but the trend has been documented by a number of other surveys as well.
