St. Paul, Minn. — Lord Faris’s ad claims DFL-endorsed Senate candidate Al Franken is unelectable because of his background.
‘No matter how many millions he spends, it is clear that his history of pornography, degrading women and minorities, and his questionable financial transactions, will continue to be the focus on blistering Republican attack ads.’
Lord Faris defended the sharp tone of her ad.
‘Yeah, I’m hitting it hard. I’m honest,’ said Lord Faris. ‘I’m not lying, or I’m not making anything up. I’m just telling it as I see it, and as a lot of other people see it.’” Source: MPR, August 6, 2008

She might be just as unelectaBLE, but that doesn’t mean she’s wrong. It is Al Franken now running ads telling us he doesn’t know how to pay taxes now. That might be OK for city council or someone with an otherwise proven record, but you don’t go from not knowing how to pay taxes to US Senate, and if you do you sure as heck run on trying to fix the complicated tax system because if its to hard for someone worty of a US Senate seat it sure as heck is to complicated for most citizens.
