    By Michael B. Brodkorb | August 9, 2008

This story is turning into a national embarrassment for Team Franken.

Heh. I dropped in at a café today where Franken was speaking and it was *packed.*

Franken also doubled Coleman’s turnout in Owatonna on Thursday.

One is all the votes Frankenfraud deserves.

Ouch. Worldwide attention for Angry Al’s humiliating “event”.

Are you saying one person doesn’t matter?

Glad to hear that Franken is not able to reach voters beyond the blue corridor. (StPaul/MSP)

At first, I thought you meant Norm’s event had one half of a person. Then I clicked on the link, and saw that the doubling was 100 to 50. Since Al is a candidate many have not heard on the stump before (especially in certain cafes), is this disparity really surprising? Norm is not new, and he is no longer a mystery since he has a record.

Not to mention Norm’s no celebrity.

I understand that one person who showed up was a heckler.

      Poor Al.

I’m wondering why the libs think they are going to sweep this election cycle?

      St. Cloud ISN’T Franken Country.

Did you catch Franken’s (and Obama’s) campaign booth at GameFair 2008 in Ramsey, Minnesota?

      Good location… NOT!

stearns county (st. cloud is the major city) voted for klobuchar over kennedy in 2006; thus, it may not be franken country, but it certainly can be dfl country with the right candidate.

Not really. While it’s true that Mark Kennedy represented the Sixth district, it’s equally true that he didn’t give it alot of attention while he represented it.
