This is really ridiculous. It was a single campaign event in the middle of the weak at the beginning of August. Who cares how many people showed up?

Are you people so forgetful that you don’t remember McCain showing up to a single person in New Hampshire. He’s a freaking presidential candidate.

Angry Al’s disasterous St. Cloud event is the political equivilent of a movie that tanks on opening weekend. What an embarrassment. The DFL has no one to blame but itself for annointing this pathetic candidate.

If Al can’t draw a crowd on his own, maybe he ought to debate Lord Faris. I am sure they would get state-wide attention. He ought to have taken Mike Hatch’s advice. Primaries are good for everyone. Had he listened he wouldn’t today be a national joke. Wonder when Schumer pulls the plug on the national money. It is hardly fair to other candidates around the country who could use this money productively. And hardly fair to people who entrust this money to Schumer and the DSCC.
