BREAKING NEWS FROM CNN: OBAMA PICKS BIDEN
By Michael B. Brodkorb | August 22, 2008
CNN is reporting that Senator Obama has selected Senator Joe Biden to be his running mate. I’m glad I didn’t have to sign-up to receive Obama’s text message announcing the pick. Biden? Really? Leave your thoughts in the comment section.

I’ve posted about this fantastic news here. This pick is proof that God loves Republicans.
While Sen. Biden is one of the true gentlemen in DC, he’s also incredibly gaffe-prone.

“While Sen. Biden is one of the true gentlemen in DC, he’s also incredibly gaffe-prone.”
And McCain isn’t? Well I wouldn’t even call what McCain does gaffes. He has so many that he probably just is out of touch with reality and average Americans. Unless you too, forget how many homes you own.

Isn’t Biden like, really old?
The Progressive-Liberal-Democrats have expressed great concern about age in the presidential race.

Wow…the surrender monkey party just raised the white flag….’Let’s try again in 2012′
Joe Biden….Major HEH!!!

Yet another Liberal-Progressive-Democrat lie! Obama promised to text the message first but a verification of that “really old guy” Joe Biden is on the Obama website. http://www.barackobama.com/index.php

I’ve been laughing all morning. What a stupid pick. This guy’s in love with one person, himself. He’s one of the most arrogant people around. He voted for Iraq, he’s a plagiarist, he’s old and looks old, he’s a racist, and he can’t stop himself from making verbal blunders.
Thank you Barack Hussein Carterbama for helping the McCain campaign today.

Talk about the windy ticket. If there’s anyone who loves the sound of his own voice more than Barak Obama, it’s Slow Joe Biden.
They’re a pretty good match, really. Neither is all that bright. Both love themselves above everything else. They’ve both been equally wrong on all the same issues. And in the hours they consume bloviating, neither one of them says anything of substance.
The debates should be hilarious. Barak and Joe running out the clock saying nothing.
Good luck Dems in 2012.

It was Michael Dukakis that forced Biden out of the 88 Presidental race with charges of plagerism. Earlier in his life he had failed a law school exam due to plagerism. Dukakis played a tape of him plagerizing Robert F. Kennedy’s speeches. Biden dropped out of the campaign a week later .

If Barack makes it to the White House, I wonder if he’ll announce other important decisions by text message…. things like U.S. policy on the Russia-Georgian war, etc. How Presidential.

Hey Barrack Mccain:
I’m just wonderin what is the 51st state of the Union? What is the 52nd state of the Union? What is the 53rd state of the Union? What is the 54th state of the Union? What is the 55th state of the Union? What is the 56th state of the Union? And what is the 57th state of the Union since Obama said he had been to 57 states.
Mccain at least has the excuse since the houses are legally his wife’s houses that he doesn’t know especially since Mccain spent most of his time in Washington, campaiging, in Arizona doing service for the people he represents, or overseas to study military situation and visiting lots of troops because he doesn’t care that the media doesn’t watch him do it to have been in all of them. Who knows one of those houses his wife might own for business purposes and he might have never been in there.
Obama on the other hand has absolutely no excuse to claim there were 57 states so all those insults which you threw at Mccain in 4 should be directed at Obamam.

Greg:
From what I heard he made the text mail at 3 a.m. which shows how he allowed this to get out of control because he was trying to be cute. Now if you want to judge how could of an executive he will be look at this mess and consider that he is going to have a lot of influence over the US economy.
If you think he messed this up there is no chance on Earth he won’t mess up the US economy.
A clear reason why everybody should vote for John Mccain.

I love all the fear I am hearing this morning.
Proof positive that this is a great pick.
August 23rd, 2008 at 11:11 am
What fear Leroy? One of the reasons why Joe was picked was because he was going to add to the ticket. You don’t remember that comment which Mccain has already turned into a commercial that showed he thought Obama wasn’t ready and Mccain was?

Leroy with all due respect I think you couldn’t be more wrong. Biden is a horrible pick.

Contrary to what the Blowhard himself thinks:
“I think I have a much higher IQ than you do.”

Lets play a game, shall we? Who said the following:
“I’m quite impressed. . .I am very pleasantly surprised. . .I know (Biden) as a guy who’s qualified to be president of the United States.”
A) Amy Klobuchar
B) Walter Mondale
C) Dave Durenburger
D) Bill Clinton
If you guessed a democrat, you are wrong. The above is former REPUBLICAN Senator Dave Durenburger’s take on the news from today’s
Star Tribune.

And Leroy lets remember Joe Bidden has already said that John Mccain will be a much better President than Obama! So listen to Joe and cast that vote for John Mccain!

I do have to agree with Joe Biden on one of his core beliefs.
Back when Joe Biden was running for the White House, he ran an ad in 1988 that said “The White House isn’t the place to learn how to deal with international crisis, the balance of power, war and peace, the economic future of the next generation.”
Bah Dah Bing!

“If you guessed a democrat, you are wrong. The above is former REPUBLICAN Senator Dave Durenburger’s take on the news…”
Funny, Leroy, how the opinion of a guy you must have hated when he WAS a senator (last in 1994) carries so much weight with you now. Besides, when was the last time Durenburger did anything that made the news?

I was just testing to see how long it would take y’all to eat your own for expressing a personal view that does not mesh with the current party’s vision of victory before honor.
Correct answer. Less than 8 hours.
August 24th, 2008 at 4:26 am
Hey Leroy here’s a very simple test.
Joe Bidden has said Obama is not ready for President. Joe Bidden has said John Mccain will be a good President.
Do you listen to Joe Bidden and vote for John Mccain?
To the best of my knowledge Durrenberger knew Bidden was 35 years old and is a United States Citizen which is technically what you need to be qualified so Durrenberger was correct. So there was no test being given out by you!
If you think that was a test you need to go back to school.

I think Leroy has stopped trying. That has to be it. He’s just mailing it in, so to speak.
