MN GOP PRESS RELEASE: “STATEMENT IN ADVANCE OF DEMOCRAT NATIONAL CONVENTION”
By Michael B. Brodkorb | August 25, 2008
St. Paul – Republican Party of Minnesota Chair Ron Carey released the following statement in advance of the Democrat National Convention.
“This week, the Democrats in Denver will try to sell a ticket that even its own second in command believes is not ready to lead. Whether it is Obama’s thin resume, his lack of experience on serious issues or the ticket’s far-left record, Barack Obama and Joe Biden have little to offer. America deserves a seasoned, proven leader from the mainstream of America. All the noise coming out of Denver only amplifies that the choice for America is clear; John McCain is the leader ready to take America forward to its finest days.â€

Come on, Michael. Use the proper term. Don’t stoop the the level of Rush Limbaugh and GW Bush. Give you opposition not only the respect it deserves, but the respect it gives you. It’s the Democratic National Convention. Please apologize and correct.

…leader from the mainstream of America
A guy who never accomplished anything except corruption (Keating Five) and temper tantrums?
A guy who got into the Navel Academy on the back of his father and grandfather and graduated at the bottom of his class?
A guy who broke his vow to his wife over and over (how do we expect him keep his vow to America- he didn’t), before divorcing her and marrying into money?
A guy who’s first run for office was set up by his in-laws influence and money?
Can’t be mainstream America.
Must be the guy who comes from a working class family, earned the grades to get into the an Ivy League school and then went on the graduate at the top of his class. Went to the best law school in the country (worked his way through it) and graduates at the top of his class. The guy who knows how Americans are struggling because he chose to work with laid off blue collar workers and found them jobs and job training that helped them move on. Must be the guy who married the girl from the Southside of Chicago who worked hard and graduated at the top of her class from two Ivy League Schools too and came back to work with everyday people.
It can’t be that McCain guy. You’ll remember that McCain and Keating had become personal friends following their initial contacts in 1981. Between 1982 and 1987, McCain had received $112,000 in political contributions from Keating and his associates. In addition, McCain’s wife Cindy McCain and her father Jim Hensley had invested $359,100 in a Keating shopping center in April 1986, a year before McCain met with the regulators. McCain, his family, and their baby-sitter had made nine trips at Keating’s expense, sometimes aboard Keating’s jet. Three of the trips were made during vacations to Keating’s opulent Bahamas retreat at Cat Cay. McCain did not pay Keating (in the amount of $13,433) for some of the trips until years after they were taken, when he learned that Keating was in trouble over Lincoln.
Oh-its Democratic Party. Try that Democrat shit next time you come sniffing around a DFL event.

Don’t you even think of an apology Michael! This whole thing in Denver is just a lot of hype (dog & pony show)about about a loosing ticket and the movers / shakers in the DNC know it. So let um have their fun now but the Nov. reckoning day will settle all the dust (Democrat blather) that we must now endure.

He shouldn’t apologize for a name-calling because you don’t like the convention?
You don’t like their politics, so they are not worthy of the lowest respect which is calling your opponent by their proper name?
I really hate the air some of you breath at times.

DJZ, do you even believe the bullshit you write?
While Obama and Biden could hold a contest for who talks longer without saying anything, you and Tommy could hold a contest for who writes the most outrageous bullshit.
Amazing how absolutely stupid you clowns are.

Sorry, didn’t mean to call you by your post name. I meant to call you Ziggy dog shit. I’m giving you the respect you deserve.

All you do his hate, Ziggy dog shit. Hate is all you and your fellow Democrats know.
BTW — there’s nothing “democratic” about the Democrat Party…. bunch of fucking socialist assholes is all they are.

Michael: Please delete my previous post. I mistakenly thought that I could engage in dialouge fitting at least a first grader, but I guess I was incorrect. As one who fought against Communism, I am beyond offended to be sworn at by obscene and infantile bigots. I expected more of you and asked for it. I wish not to be on the same page as your followers. You know how to contact me shoud you desire.

Folks…let’s tone it down. Kevin is making a fair point. Kevin, I should add that I am posting a press release from the MN GOP – they referred to the convention as the “Democrat” convention.
