Ok..now we have a side by side comparison..mouth breathing idiot clarifies his stance:

1. WAR-making policy-
1. Enlisting in the all volunteer military is not a very popular thing to do. Entrance requirements have been lowered to help meet quotas.There doesn’t seem to be much WIN in this WAR.

2. let others pay heavy WAR DEBT.
2. The American dollar doesn’t have as much buying power as it used to. It’s called “borrow and spend.”Who is financing the United States as the United States finances war?

3. pro-life except in WAR-MAKING, FERTILIZED egg storage and insurance payout plans, etc.
3. Pro-life means different things to different people. To some it means a married husband-wife use natural family planning, only.
No abortions even if the mother will die if an abortion is not performed, or the septuplets will all die of some of them are not aborted.

4. use up the cheapest source first; army tanks
use tremendous amounts of fossil fuels
4. How does one “grow” fossil fuels that took years to develop? Grow “domestic” energy with no mention about “military” energy?

5. perhaps horse-trading at its finest
5. Most seem to use “words” that are more environment friendly.

Well thanks for sharing your plainly superior intellect with us. We'll all be better people for it.

Interesting thought process…. of course Obama is too inexperienced..not to mention those terrorist ties.

But he would be just as inexperienced and unqualified if he had picked Hillary for V.P.

I tried to post this on the Star Tribune but in wouldn't take. I will cross post of my http://fifthestate.net

I watched Hillary Clinton’s speech Tuesday night. Not a single “umm” “err” or “aww” they things that made her look “dumb” in the earlier campaign. I have complex theories about this but if Hillary had learned public skill earlier it might have made a difference. I specifically cite here pseudo announcement to run where, with other speakers before her and the knowledge that she would be asked to speak she did the “umm” “Err” “I’m in ---it, to -----win ----it”. This does not seem like the public speaking pattern of a leader.

That contrasted to Obama being a superb public speaker. I believe that that was the decisive factor for the voters, who don’t follow the campaign nuances closely.

One very interesting group is female Hillary Clinton supporters who are older or lower on the economic “totem pole”. From “street” they have a strongly negative view of Barak Obama. They tend to have had strong negative dealing with black males “from the hood” and they tend to associate this with Barak Obama’s inner city “hood” connections (IE his pastor Jeremiah Wright). I ask them what they think of Tiger Woods and Tiger having a blonde wife. They have no objection to that, the like Tiger so it’s not pure racism. This is a statistically large group both male and female. They don’t care that Obama is black and give as a plus that he has a black wife but don’t like that he seems way to “hood” Sort of like “Tupac”

Also these women are seriously affected by energy costs and they don’t buy the democratic/Nancy Pelosi/T Boone Pickens/Al Gore energy spiel. They don’t understand it but it is costing and they seemed to have noticed that energy prices have gone down since President Bush’s executive order on offshore drilling and how Nancy Pelosi and the democrats have seemed to be doing catch up.

I know energy quite well and love describing it. It was rare before now that women would more than tolerate this. Now they want to know about it.

This is a great opportunity for this large group of undecided voters.

I too was a Hillary supporter earlier this year. Obama does NOT have what it takes to be President.

This is my first time posting on a web blog but I am doing it because it this election is soooo important.

It feels weird to support a Republican but I say, vote McCain in 2008!

1. WAR-making policy
2. let others pay heavy WAR DEBT
3. pro-life except in WAR-MAKING, FERTILIZED egg storage and insurance payout plans, etc.
4. use up the cheapest source first; army tanks use tremendous amounts of fossil fuels
5. perhaps horse-trading at its finest

i would boil down mccain's campaign to 5 substantive issues as follows:
1. strong national defense;
2. cut federal spending;
3. pro-life;
4. grow domestic energy from all sources
5. pro-environment utilizing cap and trade

there obviously are other issues--i.e. health care, social security, etc.--but those have dropped off the major agenda thanks to bho focusing on mccain's (make that cindy mccain's) houses.

no doubt bho will hit a home run with his acceptance speech, but that will be short lived with the new videos going around youtube regarding bho's positions on infanticide, energy program (or lack thereof) and association with terrorists.
